"The time is ripe. Combine your soul fragments, mother," the baby god whispered temptingly in Nyx's ears.

Ambai glare at him intently. "What are you doing?"

The baby god ignored her, though. He gently touched Nyx's cheeks and whispered, "mother, don't you want us to be together... don't you want this baby anymore."

"Hey don't listen to him," Ambai sat up and tightly gripped Nyx's hand. The goddess glanced at her dully. The glow in her eyes when she sobbed for her dead lover was gone..

Her eyes looked lost.

'He is controlling her,'

Ambai tightly gripped Nyx's hand and pulled her into her embrace. "Stop it, you are hurting your own mother!! How can do you do that!!"

The baby god giggled. "mother.... why are you hurting me.. Don't you want to see my face? Don't you want to be together with me... is that man who left you for her important," he pointed his fingers at Ambai.

"Don't go lying through your teeth." Ambai growled at him.
