Lisa's POV

"Are you okay, Lisa?" Tanya asked me when I stepped closer to her, and I smiled at her after nodding my head.

"What are you doing here, Tanya?" I asked, and I tried to sound casual, and maybe this is all the plan of God. She is the only one who can help me with my situation right now, but just thinking about it made my heart bleed. It pierced my heart to think that Ben would get back together with Tanya, but I am not sure if I can survive in a year, so I must think of how to make Ben ready.

I want him to find someone who will love him before I die, and his ex is the most suitable candidate because Tanya is still obviously in love with Ben. I wonder how I am going to break up with him. It seems breaking up with Benedict is more complicated than winning his heart. And I couldn't believe I would die before we could even get married, and I wondered why I had to survive the flood and found out later that I was going to die anyway.
