Chapitre 79: Catching Up With Ariana

Maya's POV

We are looking at each other before we walk going to the front porch of the mansion. I can tell my brother is trying his best to look calm, but he can never hide his raw emotions from me. I know he is very much affected by her presence. Ariana is looking at us with wide eyes, and I can tell she is avoiding my brother's face, but I know out of the corner of her eye she is checking him out.

"Hello, guys, I am not sure if I am still welcome to come here, but I try my luck, Lisa talked to me, and I guess you will also do the same." She said, and I can feel her nervousness through her voice.

"Of course, don't be silly, Ariana. We don't see each other for years, but it doesn't mean our friendship ends," I said, and I smile at her, and I realized how much I miss her.
