With the students observing my every move, I ran toward the pack of villains. I could see they were more dubious at how a single man would beat the 47 of them, some of them snickering and taunting me, but I expertly ignored them, focusing only on my task, which was defeating them.
As I wanted to "stay in character", I would use Raiko's second quirk the least I possibly could, which meant I needed to defeat those 47 quirkless.
It had been a long time since I had a good workout, I hope my skills were not rusty…
.
I dived into the swam of villains and they quickly surrounded me, cutting any escape routes, not that it mattered, I had no intentions of escaping.
I dodged a fireball that one of the villains shot from his nostril, before throwing a powerful high kick at the said villain. I heard a sickening breaking sound coming from his face, then saw him fall to the ground, but my attention was already elsewhere.
All those villains were obviously inexperienced in large 1 vs many battles, but it didn't hinder that much, they didn't care at all about friendly fire or hurting their allies, only wanting to put me down. Some of them had evil grins on their faces and tired to rile me up.
"Go back to your mama, little boy, else I'll arrive to her before you."
"You're first, and after you're done, it'll be your student's turn…Hope you don't mind if I have some 'fun' with them."
I made a mental memo to hurt those two when I would face them, but kept my cool and used Emotional Manipulation to make me void of any emotion, they would only hinder me. I didn't need any stray thoughts right now, I needed to focus.
And that's what I did, I hope the students would enjoy the show and learn something from this.
I redirected a punch from a villain who had drills in place of hands into the foot of another one who had a slight gigantification quirk that had attempted the kick me.
"AHHHHHH"
The giant shouted, absolutely livid and hit the drill villain a headbutt to take revenge, taking him out for me. How nice.
I switched my focus to an incoming rain of hair bullets, swiftly avoiding it, before taking my handgun and shooting the hair's owner in the temple, instantly knocking him out.
I still had ammunition I my gun, but it was limited so I kept it for the villains who had long-range quirks, the others couldn't really do anything to me.
I ducked to the ground, doing a wide kick to trip the villains while dodging even more punches, causing some of them to hit their allies and, using a baseball bat that I had just stole from someone who definitely didn't want to use it for good.
It had been a small ten seconds since the fight had begun, the villains were still a bit stunned and surprised, but they were quickly regaining their minds, they would soon overwhelm me, so I checked on Aizawa and the students to see how they were doing and verified if Kurogiri was close to escaping.
Aizawa was doing very well against Shigaraki, the leader of the villains, careful not to be hit by the disintegration quirk of his opponent, but with his own quirk, Erasure, he didn't have any problem.
It was clear that the villain didn't have a lot of experience, so it was normal that he wouldn't fare well, especially against someone with Aizawa's skill set and experience.
The students watching, still concerned and anxious, but they all had wide eyes when they saw my hand-to-hand and shooting skills.
Kurogiri was still trapped, but he didn't seem concerned, not at all. He still was attempting to escape, though without any success.
I didn't have time to ponder about that as the villains were now more enraged than ever, determined to kill me in a very painful way.
In the next moment, I suddenly was very glad I had 360-degree vision, I had to use all of my skills (though none of my active quirks) to avoid being hit by the flurry of attacks that came my way,I twisted myself in an impossible way in the air thanks to Inhuman Flexibility, and narrowly avoided dozens of strikes.
When I hit the ground, all hell was set loose…
Too many villains to count flocked to my position, creating a human wave, they were too many for the current quirkless me (although it would've taken less than a second for Knockout to get rid of them) and I was forced to grow two more arms on each side to have a chance to fight back.
Everyone was surprised when they saw me with four extra arms, particularly the students, as they knew I wasn't supposed to have this quirk.
The villains were only slightly shocked, but they quickly got over it and swarmed me again.
Using the baseball bat and some other weapons I took from villains, I completely immersed myself in my fight to think of anything else, even with my multiple simultaneous train of thoughts.
I just really didn't want to get hit, even by a small attack, so I was really giving my all.
Why didn't I want to be hit? Mostly for my personal satisfaction and to prove that hand-to-hand fighting is still very strong, that you didn't need a powerful quirk to be strong. But mostly for my satisfaction.
I proved my point very well, completely demolishing the first wave of attackers in a few simple but deadly moves.
From that point on, you could say that I danced around the battlefield, although I wouldn't say I looked like I danced…
Yes, from a certain point of view, I was gracious, but my fighting was simply too brutal, hearing villain scream in pain was a common occurrence, as well as seeing limbs torn in a weird angle.
The number of my enemies kept diminishing until there were only a few remaining, keeping a safe distance from me and eyeing me warily, but mostly afraidly.
We faced off for a couple of seconds, and I took this time to assess how others were doing.
Aizawa was still kicking Shigaraki's ass, and it didn't look like he got it, but it seemed the fight was closer than before.
Kurogiri was still stuck, but he didn't even try to get out anymore.
The students were in awe, slack jawed of my performance.¸
Everything was going well, too well for villains that were supposed to kill All Might, there was something else behind the scenes.
I needed to stay on my guard, but for now, there were still some villains standing, and that needed to change fast.
I took a step forward, the last of my opponents took a step backward.
Again, I took a step forward, they took a step backward.
I started sprinting toward them, they started to run away from me as fast as they could.
I was faster, a few moments later, another villain joined the group of those who were groaning in pain, face against the ground and probably regretting to ever set foot inside the USJ.
Quickly after, another bit the dust, and another one…
It didn't take long before I was the only one standing, the uncontested winner, and I felt a thrill, a jolt coursing through me. I wasn't hit a single time, I was content.
But my joy didn't last, just when it looked like Aizawa would get a real hit on Shigaraki, the villain decided he was done fighting and spoke three words.
"Nomu. Kill him," he called.
A portal opened, and faster than most people's eyes could follow, an all-black monstrosity with an exposed brain got out.
As soon as I had heard the villain call "Nomu", I had run toward him as fast as I could, which was faster than believed myself to be without speed quirks, but it wasn't enough quick enough…
The Nomu punched with immense speed and power, hitting Aizawa in the chest and causing him to be blown away nearly fifty meters back. I could see that his arms, legs and most of his ribs had been broken by the single punch.
So this is how they intended to kill All Might, it was certainly powerful…
But I didn't care, this thing was strong enough to kill all the students here, I was pretty sure, I wouldn't let that happen, it was my responsibility to look after them.
.
After Aizawa landed on the ground, far away for Shigaraki and his minion, Midoriya immediately ran toward him, wanting to take him to safety and see if he was mortally injured.
Good intentions, really bad timing. Did Midoriya not see the beast's speed? Did he not hear Shigaraki say, "Kill him"? Did he care about his own safety?
The Nomu ran toward Midoriya, intending to finish what he had started and kill Aizawa, but he needed to get rid of the pest in front of him first, so he punched Midoryia.
This time, I was just fast enough to sprout arms from the ground, grabbing and throwing my student away to (relative) safety and to raise several bone shields, successfully negating the blow.
Even though I knew that Midoriya wouldn't've been directly hit after I had thrown him, the shockwave was sometime alone strong enough to injure or kill, and I wouldn't take this chance.
But now, this thing had made a mistake...
It had attempted to hit my student, I couldn't accept that, not at all, it made me furious, completely enraged.
For the first time in ages, Emotional Control couldn't hold my emotions anymore.
It would be its last mistake.
Hoped you like it. Raiko is very protective of his students, as you can see.
I just want to say that during cannon USJ, Aizawa only fart a part of the villains, while the rest was sent to the different zones.
The MC, though, got to fight all of the villains because they were never sent to the different zones, so it makes sense that he has it muc harder than Aizawa. Also, Aizawa has erasure, which is very useful against a group of opponents.
