Chapitre 30: A different direction Part 1

The clouds were getting darker and the wind would get stronger and Artirian and Clara would feel the wind would blow to one direction their hair would go with the flow on where the direction of the air blew. Then Artirian and Clara would head towards the stable that is located nearby the Arena 1.

As they walked towards it there was a gate as it was like a compound where horses are kept fed and housed. The Arena 1 stables would have 5 more horses that are not yet taken. Artirian would then get a leash for the black horse he found quite amusing for him.

Even though the horse needs to be tamed by its rider so that it would be able to drive the horse properly. The horse which Artirian picked was the jet black horse, he picked that horse because Artirian felt a sense of comfortability for both of them. That is why Artirian doesn't need to tame the horse for him to ride it, Artirian also named it Dagger.

After that Artirian would get some saddle and leash he would then fix the leash to the horse then Artirian would get a saddle and he would align it on the back of the horse so that they would be able to ride much safer. After aligning the saddle, he would then help Clara to be able to get on the horse and sit on the saddle before him.

Artirian already knew how to ride a horse because of Sherwood. Who teaches him on how to ride and tame a horse. He also learned to trot that horse so it would go faster. After both of them were able to get on the horse Artirian would then maneuver the horse to the gate. While gently making it move forward Clara would hold his waist and grip his armor.

But as soon as they maneuver the horse to face the gate there comes a sudden appearance of 4 republican conscripts. As the conscripts saw them they quickly unsheathed their sword and started running towards them. Artirian would first analyze how many he would fight when he is assured that only 4 conscripts are running towards him he would then pull out his Bokken sword from his back.

Then he would lower it aiming for the Republican conscripts body and trotted the horse to move faster. Clara would then hug Artirian back so that she won't fall. Then as the horse pace goes faster the 4 conscripts would scream "RAAHHHHH FOR THE GENERAL!" After that shout Artirian would swing his sword to the left cutting the 1st conscript that is nearer to him the blood would spurt as the sword cut through the thin leather armor.

The 1st sword would drop dead on the ground. Then the next conscript the 2nd one would swing his sword but it was blocked by Artirian then Artirian would counter and swing his Bokken sword lacerating the enemies head as the enemy head flew off the air once it reached the ground it would start rolling. As the other conscript saw what Artirian did they quickly stopped running towards him. As they would be frightened of how Artirian would easily slay two of their comrades in just one charge. The conscripts who were earlier charging towards Artirian would now turn their back and started running away.

They would drop their weapons on the ground because of how they are scared from what Artirian did to the other two earlier. Artirian would continue to trot heading out of the Arena 1 stables compound. As he trotted the horse and increased the pace of the horse, Clara would hug Artirian from the back and as time went by the hug was getting tighter and her face would be on Artirian back. Once they made it out of the compound they would see the other Republican forces would still pushing forward inside of the guildhall.

The guild hall was almost destroyed as its windows were shattered, and its walls had been destroyed not entirely but few parts of it have already become debris and the door was destroyed.

That is why Republican knights and conscripts would make their way inside much quicker than earlier but still even though some of them would be able to get inside some were sent flying out of the guildhall.

And some were lacerated when entering the hall that is why the Republican forces would keep pushing forward so that the hall would be able to overwhelm and kill the scouts who were inside. Some of the members of the scouts that were left inside are a little bit patriotic when it comes in fighting with the republicans.

While Artirian saw what was happening he became a little worried about the Flying Daggers because Rommel is currently leading it. That is why he quickly grabs the leash of the horse and puts pressure on the horse and so that it will trot faster.

Artirian would then focus his vision on going to the hidden passage that is located at the left side of the MoonScar city that is hidden by a thick forest. While Artirian is driving the horse and getting worried about the group. On the other hand Clara would have butterflies in her stomach, because for the first this was the first longest time she hugged Artirian.

The hidden passage was known to only a few people who knew about the passage through the left side of the city. Because the forest is so thick and so unsafe to travel to, some were afraid to enter or get near the forest because of the sense of aura it gives out to travelers and caravan drivers and also because rumors that are going around that it is said that the forest is the house of the Galgoth monster.

Some take the hidden route where travelers have many protections or guards for their valuables and also their lives. But there some travelers that have good guards and mercenaries that never came back once they entered the thick forest. There are some rumors also that a caravan that was heading to the Moon Scar City was taken by the Galgoth monster who ate their flesh and also their bones; the only remains were the shirt and uniforms of the guards. Some of the caravan was not entirely eaten but a man named Alecro told everybody that the Galgoth monster was not a myth but rather a real one.

Some of the people who are in the inn that day would laugh at him and after that day Alecro would enter the forest and never came back alive. But there are also some types of beasts that are also lurking in the forest.
