Chapitre 3: How It All Started - Chapter Two
-Autumn's Perspective-
"Do you remember how we became friends?" Blake asked me.
"Of course I do, I remember it like it was yesterday," I replied.
"Alright fine, tell me the long story of how we became friends," he joked.
"If you insist!" I exclaimed with attitude. I think long and hard back to when we first met. However, my thoughts were interrupted by Blake again.
"I'm waiting!" he smirked.
"Well then you tell me!" I yelled at him.
"Well once upon a time, a lonely prince dropped his lollipop. The frown on his face conveyed sadness and depression," I giggle at his joking.
"And out of nowhere a brave fearless princess showed up and decided to make him smile. She shoved me another lollipop and asked me to be friends with her, rather forcefully might I add." he said.
"You looked so lonely I had to you probably would've been sad forever without me!" I replied. We both burst out in laughter and laid on the sand starting at the sun set into the deep blue ocean that lay ahead of us.
-Blake's Perspective-
She didn't realize I was starting at her until she looked back and blushed at me.
"Why are you staring creep?" Autumn joked.
"Because..." I said trying to make up a good excuse. "Because your eyes, are shimmering from the sunset," I said, quickly realizing it was stupid to say that.
"There's no light for my eyes to shimmer," she replied.
"Still!" I exclaimed smiling. We enjoyed each other's company looking up at the starry night sky. Autumn's birthday was in a couple of days and I wanted her to have in my arms thinking of birthday plans. "What do you want to do for your birthday?" I asked. There was no answer, "Autumn?" I look down to see her sleeping soundly in my arms. I started to wonder what would happen if I would just tell her how much I love her.
-1 HOUR LATER-
I decided that we had been away from home for too long and gently shook her awake. "Sleeping beauty wake up," I said playfully. She started to move around in my arms and rub her eyes. "How long have I been asleep?" she asked.
"About an hour," I responded,
"Oh shoot, my parents are going to freak out!" she exclaimed.
"Wow that's harsh, you think I'm that irresponsible?" I sarcastically replied.
"Mmm...Yes!" she exclaimed. "Now get up, we need to get home!" she stated.
"But I'm so comfortable," I whined she quickly pushed all her weight on my stomach to get up, "Owww!" I complained holding my stomach.
"Ha! That will never get old!" she laughed at me while I rolled my eyes.
"Hey! Wait for me!" I called out when I saw her running to the car.
"You gotta catch me first!" she yelled at me. We went home and relaxed after a much needed shower. We binged watched Criminal Minds and Grey's Anatomy, we laughed from night to morning, Around 5:30 is when Autumn fell asleep on me again. I carried her to her room and laid her on the bed. I laid next to her and soon fell asleep.
