Chapitre 118: Last Words

"Look," 

Isabella's eyes widened as she pointed towards the feather. It wasn't lifeless anymore as it moved gently as if it was blown by the wind, which wasn't any in the dark basement. Mason and Xavier followed her sight. 

The feather lifted up and then got stuck to the side of the bed. Mason stood up immediately to see what the feather was trying to tell him. There was a small torn piece of cloth that was stuck to rough wood. They didn't notice it before because the color was almost similar to the dark wood. 

"What is this?" Xavier came forward and took the piece from his hand. 

"It was not just a dream, I was right," Mason was still in a daze as he stood up and faced Xavier. "This is the piece of cloth my grandfather was wearing." He told him now that his shattered confidence was coming back to life. 

"Can you track it down?" Isabella asked Xavier who was sniffing it.
