Hong Liu thought the next time she will see him, it will hurt or she will be angry or she plans to feign the same coldness and indifference he showed her but, all she felt was....relief. Her heart warmed up at his mere sight but he didn't look at her, nobody was aware of her presence as she takes in at his indifferent position, his elbow was resting on the armrest while his other hand was on his vertically bent knee as hold the teacup, which he was looking at with bored expression. The soreness of her heart she felt just a moment ago vanished as she clutches a scroll in her hand while just look at him.
"Xiao Liu, you come back, How were your exams?" Ren's voice shook her from her thoughts.
"I all went well,"
"Of course it did, she is my granddaughter, do you even have to ask?" Her grandfather puffed at her proudly, stroking his long bore.
Hong Liu beamed.

Hong Liu eyes trace Dong Hai's every moment and the fact that he didn't look at her, now don't I deserve to be a glance at?
"First Lord, I request you. Don't be too rash, there could be heavy retribution if you fight the four monster to enter the Eternal Garden of Creation. I assure if she goes there, we would avoid calamity," Bai Lei said.
"The Eternal Garden of Creation? Why?" Hong Liu asked confused.
"The First Lord need the golden dust pearl," Ren informed Hong Liu. She looks at Dong Hai. It's finally dawn on her why he took her pin and asked her about how to pass the four monster but what is so important and why he didn't tell her when she offers to pay back his kindness. Its been three years and now he is here telling her grandfather that he wished to go in the Eternal Garden of creation to get the gold dust pearl and it also seems he refusing her help.

"He..." Ren started to explain but Dong Hai interrupted.

"I don't understand why he insists on this," Bai Lei disappear after him as well.
Hong Liu looks at Ren.
"What it is about?" Hong Liu frowned.

"So is..is he out of his seal?"

"Huh? How could that be? So if get the pearl than he can do it, right? So what is the difficulty and why grandfather is not letting him go,"
"Are you forgetting? there are four monsters that are guarding it. Nobody can pass them except you,"
"But you just said the green forest won't refuse the magic to the First Lord then surely he can pass them?"
"Dong Hai went there before he has seen those monsters and fought them almost lost his sixty per cent spiritual power, The Father of Gods had a reason to put them there to protect the Eternal Garden of Creation, even Dong Hai can't pass them and even if he did, would he have enough power to stop the ghost emperor? and if he ends up killing those monsters, he will go through retribution. Hong Liu never saw Ren this serious, and it made her heart filled with dread the possibility that First Lord can get hurt....no, no, she has to go. She spread her wings out.
"Now, where are you going?" Ren asked.
"To get the gold dust pearl for him,"
"He doesn't listen to anybody,"
"Then I will make him," and she flew away and Ren let out a sigh, something tells him. He shouldn't have told her this but who is going to help Dong Hai if she won't but her feeling....? He needs to talk to her this time proper. He disappears in peach rays as well, following them.
