Chapitre 53: Airport
Alissa's POV
This time, Maggie decided to take charge of the time and our schedule.
It was 6:40 when we arrived at the car rental service and it only took 10 minutes to give the worker the keys. We took the shuttle to the airport and when we got there, it was 7:10. We were walking in a line towards the check-in.
"Time." Maggie said from the front of the line.
"7:10." I answer. I heard Maggie curse under her breath.
"Alright let's speed this up a bit." She said with a tiny bit worry in her voice. We all started walking faster.
By the time we finished checking in, getting our bags checked and getting a quick bite to eat, it was 7:55.
We were only a couple gates away from where our gate was and we were soaring through all the people in our way.
Rickey's POV
When we reached our gate and we all sat down, each one of us let out a long sigh at the same time. But Maggie's was the loudest which made all of us laugh.
"Time management is too much stress for me." She sighed. I chuckled to myself.
"Doesn't YouTube involve time management?" I ask.
"That's different." She says defensively.
"Suuuuure it is Mags." Alissa teased.
"Yeah whatever." Maggie said as I pulled my phone out of my pocket and went on Instagram to post my last picture in Los Angeles.
Just as I was about to post, I saw that Maggie, Denzel, and Alissa had posted before me.
Well damn, they beat me to it.
I smiled and put my phone in my pocket just in time for the attendant to call up our flight name.
"Flight 362 to London, England is now boarding." She said.
Maggie's POV
I grabbed all my stuff and stood up to get in line with everyone.
"What seat numbers do you have?" Debzel asked us.
"B 5." Alissa says.
"B 4." Rickey responded.
"B 6." I answered.
"K 7." He said in a sad tone.
"Aw Denzel! You're alone without us again!" Alissa says with a laugh. Denzel just shook his head and looked down.
"It's okay buddy, we'll see you after the flight." I say, patting Denzel on the shoulder as he walks off towards his seat while Rickey, Alissa and I start to joke around.
Throughout the whole flight, Alissa, Rickey, and I joked around made a mess, annoyed the hell out of the flight attendants, slept, watched movies, and listened to music. We basically threw our own party writhing three seats on a plane while poor Denzel was stuck next to an old woman. One of us would occasionally go talk to him, but it was waaaaaaaay more fun joking around.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we will be arriving in London, England in about 10 minutes." We heard the pilot say.
"Ooooh, we're getting closer!" Alissa squeals. Rickey and I smiled and looked out the window to see lights sparkling bright in the evening light.
-10 Minutes Later-
After we landed and got out bags from the baggage claim, Rickey, Denzel, Alissa and I parted ways. They all got in different taxi cabs and I went outside to hail one. I waved my hand in the air at first, but when it didn't work, I whistled and that made a cab stop right next to me.
I hopped in and I was on my way home. I chose not to text Jack because I wanted my arrival to be a great surprise, I mean have you seen me, I'm fabulous. I'm the best surprise you could ever get.
-At Home-
Conor's POV
We were waiting for Maggie to come home when I heard a doorbell.
"Probably the mailman." I say, walking to the front door. It can't be Maggie, she has a key to the house and she would've opened the door herself. I opened the door to see a very smiley Maggie staring into my eyes.
"CONOR!" She shouted, spreading her arms open for a hug.
"MAGGIE!" I shout back giving into the hug. When she pulled away, I saw her eyes light up even more than they'd been before. I turned around to see Jack standing with his arms open.
"BABY!" Maggie shouted in my ear, almost deafening me.
"PRINCESS!" Jack yelled running and picking Maggie up off the floor and spinning her around. I smiled at how happy they were together.
Who knew my little brother would be the first to settle down?
I asked myself. It was a big surprise that Jack would find someone and stay committed to them. Take offense Jack, I don't care.
