Chapitre 23: Epilogue

King Brent Lucas plopped onto the bed of the Royal place and sighed. Why did they ever adopt kids? This was too much.
Then his husband, King Lucas Charming came strolling into the room shirtless.
He loved how Lucas let him see him like this because he knew how sensitive the former prince was about his body. He glanced quickly at a scar right near the King's heart and sighed. He couldn't believe that so many years had passed since he had turned into a giant beast and pimp-slapped his husband so hard that a scar was visible to this day.
King Lucas cleared his throat, "The kids want you to tell them a story,"
Brent sighed dramatically but nodded, "alright,"he rolled his eyes, "Bring in the little nightmares!"
As if on cue, three little children came running in, laughing and giggling wildly.
The oldest girl, Diana Jean Charming. She was adopted from Louisiana, Brent's home state. She had reddish-brown hair that reminded them of Queen Diana, their best friend's wife. She looked up at her father with shimmering blue eyes, excited since she had lost one of her two front teeth earlier that day. She sat front and center in a red onesie, with her two younger siblings sitting on either side of her, also bouncing with energy despite how late it was.
The middle child was another girl, Isabelle Lilian Charming. she was adopted from the Eastern Kingdom with the singing voice of our gold. The girl had caught their eye because the moment she started singing at the adoption agency, animals had gathered around her. She had pale blonde hair and dark, almost black, eyes with small flecks of gold in them. She often said when she is old enough, she'll dye her hair brown to match her dad: Brent Lucas who was far cooler than Lucas Charming.
The youngest was also a boy, Jacob Michael Charming. This one was the wildest of them all with electric blue hair and piercing green eyes, obviously not born in the continents. He had run around his father a good twelve times, telling himself he was an airplane and then finally making a successful landing next to his eldest sister. He poked her repeatedly to get her attention since he couldn't sit still, but both of his sisters were used to ignoring him by now.
All three sat in front of their foster dad and waited patiently.
Lucas sat down on a chair in the far end of the room and listened also. "What kinda story are you in the mood for?" Brent asked
"Dragons!" Shouted Jacob, jumping up and storing around, pretending to breathe fire.
"Ninjas!" Shouted Diana, who clapped at her own wonderful idea.
Brent looked at Isabelle who just shrugged and asked silently, "how did you and daddy meet each other?"
Brent smiled and looked at Lucas who mirrored his expression.
"Everyone has heard of the daring and extremely handsome prince charming.
Well.. Charmings. The triplets: Christopher, William, and Charles Charming. The pride of the Charming family." Brent described, "The one and only trio of magnificence. The greatest thing to ever be produced of Lily and Michael Charming. The most wonderfu-"
"Get on with it," Lucas rolled his eyes.
"Hang on. Wait a sec. Oh... Oh. Wait there's another one?" Brent pretended to be shocked. Lucas just scowled, making his husband laugh, "Oh. Lucas. Oh yeah, wait let me start over.
The triplets: Christopher, William, and Charles Charming. The pride of the Charming family. The one and only trio of magnificence. And then their little brother Lucas Charming is nice too.
Unfortunately, this story revolves around this sad little loner, so I apologize in advance. Lucas Charming was feeling particularly lonely this time of the year, in summer. That was because it was Christopher and Snow's second anniversary...
