Lucas's POV:
My hips ached from all the pleasure I felt from earlier. 'But it's not like I could blame Evan for this. After all I initiated it and went for round two. What was I thinking? I wasn't, clearly!'
My face wore a sour expression from my deep thinking and the throbbing pain from my hips. Evan laughed at me.
"Here, eat up before it goes cold." He chuckled as he placed a plate of bacon and scrambled eggs on toast before me.
My favorite. 'I had only been dating Evan for about a week and he had already knew almost everything about me. But I hardly knew anything about him. I mean I don't even know how old he is. Maybe I should ask. Or is that rude?'
"Evan, can I ask you something?"
He nodded in response with a curious look.
"How old are you?"
"2,304 years old." He answered bluntly.
"Ohh. That's a massive age gap!" I exclaimed, shocked from his answer.
"Yeah, but I am a vampire who's immortal."
"mmhm. I guess you're right."
"How old are you my kitty?" He purred.
"24, nothing nearly as impressive as 2,304."
I said shyly, hiding my head in shame.
"Hmm. That's a pretty good age. The prime part of your life in fact. Must be why you're soo handsome." He smirked, glancing my direction for my reaction to his compliment.
"I guess." I rolled my eyes.
"What do you mean, 'you guess'. What kind of weak ass response is that? 20 to 30 is prime age to live your life, probably even up to 40 if you wanted."
"But you're so much older than me, but you still look so young. If I was your age, well I wouldn't live to be that old, but still, if I was. I'd be all old and wrinkly." I pouted.
"Well true, humans don't live as long as Vampires. But that doesn't mean you're gonna wrinkle up and die anytime soon."
I continued to pout."By the time I'm old and grey. You will resume younge and handsome, never changing. Staying perfect forever." I whined.
Evan walked over to me and grasped my chin in his hand, bringing me to his eyes. "Nope. Not a single grey in sight, nor a wrinkle. Still my youthful kitten!" He squeezed my cheeks and planted a wet kiss on my lips.
"Even if you were all 'old and grey' as you put it. I'd still love you." His words were filled with warmth and comfort, but I still felt empty.' He says that for now, but one day I'll just become a burden to him.' I frown at my horrible thoughts.
"Listen Lucas." Evan ceased his teasing and became fully serious. "If you are seriously that concerned about growing old. I can always turn you into a vampire."
My eyes glistened with excitement from his sudden words I think I was waiting to hear.
Seeing my reaction, Evan continued.
"However, becoming a vampire is risky and requires you to die. Would you still do it?"
"I-I would." I tried to answer firmly but I stumbled.
"It's also not as simple and as easy I make it seem. Being a vampire means dealing with the unquenchable thirst on a daily basis. Gaining massive amounts of self control and restraint to do so." He attempted to scare me with the vampire life.
'But my mind remained unchanged. I want to be a vampire!'
"I know, but I have you. You'll always be there to help me. Won't you?" I questioned him this time, ensuring myself of my fall backs.
"Of course, but I can't fight the thirst for you." Evan said worryingly.
"I know, all I need is your support." I smiled.
