"You mean..." Prince Adam responds, listening with his cousin.
"Yes, she is already dead… but Madam Rose didn't believe it, she insists. So Lord Marthen ask me for a favor," Mr. Jao explains.
"What is his favor?" Sir Albert ask,
"To pretend that their daughter is still with them and to tell his wife that she is only just sleeping because of a high fever," Mr. Jao answer,
"W-what?" Prince Adam felt sad,
"Why would he do such a thing to his wife?" Sir Albert ask,
"Madam Rose already has a weak health ever since she was born, and Lord Marthen do it because he doesn't want to lose his wife too," Mr. Jao explains,
"She went through a lot," Prince Adam mentions, with a feeling that he hadn't felt before.
"I continue attending to her like she was still alive, while her parents also continue praying for her wellness. Three weeks have passed, and her body gives off a distinctive smell of a dead person, and I know why, but Madam Rose still had this idea on her mind that Lady Vendia only has a high fever. So Lord Marthen let her be," Mr. Jao continue explaining,
"That's," Sir Albert felt heavy inside his heart,
"Lord Marthen wait for two more days tell he give up, then he orders his servant in silence to take her daughter body away to their mansion in quiet without letting Madam Rose know, and bring it to the morgue because he can't bear to see his daughter in front of him already dead," Mrs. Han inserts to Mr. Jao explanation as she cries.
"What?..." Prince Adam's tears fall to his face without him knowing as he felt so many emotions take over him.
"Then it happened like a miracle. Miss Vendia woke up and came back to us. But she loses all her memories," Mr. Jao mention,
"You mean?" Sir Albert felt relief upon hearing it.
"Yes, and that's all that happened. We don't know what happened to, miss Venida inside the forest because Lord Marthen only found her laying on the mud ground wet and have blood on her dress," Mr. Jao respond,
"Cousin. Let us go back," Prince Adam demands, his voice sounds weak and trembling,
"Your highness, please don't tell Lord Marthen that I speak out things about his daughter to you. Please, I'm begging you," Mr. Jao plead,
"Don't worry. We are now in debt to your family. Don't forget that, okay?" Sir Albert replies, winking, with a smile planted on his face.
"Cousin, let's go," Prince Adam mention again,
"What? But we're still not done her-"
"ENOUGH! I know already that she is not lying about her condition, so come on," Prince Adam shouts in anger and gets out to the house alone.
"Hey, wait! Sorry and thank you," Sir Albert let go of Mrs. Han and apologies, then run after his cousin,
"Hey! What's up with you!" Sir Albert shouts at Prince Adam,
"Let us go home, for now, cousin," Prince Adam replies, wiping his tears away.
"No, let us talk this out now," Sir Albert, stop his cousin from walking away,
"I don't want to," Prince Adam reply,
"What do you mean? Are you running away from your problem?" Sir Albert felt disappointed in his cousin.
"I'm not!" Prince Adam answer as tears fall to his face again, and Sir Albert got surprised.
"Yah, I didn't mean to scold at you, I'm sorry," Sir Albert apologize to his cousin,
"I'm not running at my problem. I just don't know how to solve it, that's all," Prince Adam mention within his sobs as he felt so much heavyweight on his shoulder right now.
"Hey…" Sir Albert felt pity towards his cousin,
"I can't believe that she will kill herself so that I would give my heart to her," Prince Adam, crying.
"Yah…" Sir Albert looks at his cousin, who cried mess in front of him because of guilt. He hugs him and caresses his back.
"I don't know what to do, cousin. Please help me," Prince Adam beg, crying.
"Haaa… I can't believe my cousin beauty is a sin to the world," Sir Albert trying to ease the massive moment with witty,
"Cousin, this is a serious matter," Prince Adam responds,
"I know, I'm sorry. You know I'm not used to this kind of situation," Sir Albert respond,
"I know," Prince Adam replies,
'Ahh… I can't believe this. What kind of girl are you before, Vendia? How can you leave everything without thinking of everyone else who cared and loved you,' Sir Albert thought as he continues hugging his cousin, who's still sobbing.
"Haaa… okay, stop crying now. Let us go home first and talk about this, okay?" Sir Albert suggested, and Prince Adam nod let go of the hug.
"Thank you, cousin," Prince Adam mention,
"Aigo… I can't believe you. You still wet my clothes when you cry. You still like a child," Sir Albert replies, admiring his cute cousin, who looks like a mess in front of him right now.
"Let us go back now," Prince Adam didn't argue his cousin's comment about him as he wipes his tears away.
"Je Je Je, okay," Sir Albert reply, and they then went inside the carriage.
