[Johan's POV]
'Give your heart to the one who will cherish it forever.'
The red glass heart contrasted with the paleness of his tiny palm like a crystalized blood on snow glittering in the sunlight. Johan stared at the pendant his late grandmother gave him, then shoved it to his pocket at the sound of footsteps from behind.
"It's time to go, Johan," his grandfather said, resting a hand to his shoulder. "Have you said your goodbye to your grandmother?"
Johan nodded and traced the name engraved on the burial chamber one last time. "Goodbye, Grandma. I'm going to miss you."
I'm back!
Writing the prequel of this story is quite refreshing. I already have this in mind before I even turn the story premium, so I hope you'll enjoy it.
Let the bedtime story begins! :D
