Chapitre 132: The Agreement

[Adrian's POV]

Best friends. Sometimes, they're the worst possible rival, especially when they're also the first love. The amount of time spent together would create a history not anyone can easily surpass. Even if it didn't work out in the end, or they went on separate ways, the memories would still remain like a permanent scar etched on their hearts.

First friend.

First love.

First heartbreak.

They said it never dies, because the first cut the deepest.

The firm 'no' should mean Johan was over it, but the pain in his eyes told him otherwise. Johan squirmed from his grasp and placed his feet back on the ground. He cut their eye contact, the pad of his palms pressed on Adrian's shoulders turning clammy.

"Are you sure, Han? You don't have any feelings for him anymore?" Adrian probed, knowing full well by now how good Johan was at hiding things he didn't want to talk about.
