Chapitre 332: The Summer of Discontent

"You won't believe what just happened." I shook my head in disbelief as I walked out of the classroom.

Having been waiting for me, Dakota slid his arm around my waist and walked with me, then looked behind him over his shoulder toward the classroom. "What happened?"

Pulling him to a stop, I looked both ways to make sure no one was listening. "She's a witch."

He smirked. "What are you talking about?"

"Miss McCray," I stage-whispered and then lowered my voice, "is a witch."

Dakota laughed. "I know she's a little kooky, but—"

"Auria sent her to keep an eye on things," I said flatly. "Between the murders of the two witches last year and now this year, she wanted to have an inside man... er... witch on campus to look out for us." I looked around again and then back at Dakota. "Auria tol her to contact me to spread the word to the other witches on campus."

Dakota's eyes nearly bugged out of his head. "Seriously?"
