Chapitre 205: Pledged, Part 1

That night after Julien, Lacey, and members of The Harvest Moon Pack came back and took their places at our house for the night, Dad and I went over to Dakota's house to stay the night as planned. By then, I was feeling much better and my neck was nearly healed to the point that I could remove the gauze from my neck. There was a scar, but I hoped it would be gone by the time we were pledged. 

Pledged. Although we were already engaged, pledging seemed so much... more. I was eager to take the next step with Dakota in our relationship, but I was nervous at the same time. 

Somehow, I didn't think that Cathy would do anything that night because we would be expecting it. No, the next time she struck would be when we least expected it. 

And sure enough, nothing had happened that night at Dakota's and Noah's house. Even Faith had been ready for her, too. But then... nothing.
