Chapitre 194: Choices

"I'll leave you two to talk," Dakota said when he saw my father, and then headed inside the cabin with Julien, Lacey, and other members of his pack later that night. There wasn't enough room for everyone, so some members of The Harvest Moon Pack waited outside.

"When did he get here?" Dad asked, pulling me in for a hug.

Of course, I knew he meant Julien. "Earlier today. Dakota and I ran into him at the diner."

Dad's eyebrows shot up. "Why did you leave school early?"

"I was upset so Dakota and I left," I said, letting out a deep breath. 

Dad tilted his head to the side. "What happened?"

"When I told Mr. Wilson that Cathy was gone, he got upset and practically called me a liar."

"What?" Dad's voice rose four octaves.

I nodded. "Yes. Come to find out, Cathy sent him a text last night, telling him that she was going away for a while, but would be back."

"Really?" Dad asked. "Do you think it was Crystal?"
