Chapitre 120: Hunch, Part 2

Seeing that the parking lot was still filled with snow, I slowed in front of the library a few minutes later. Men were working to clear the lot, so I parked on the side of the road. As I got out, Dakota pulled up in his truck, parking behind me.

Dakota got out of his truck and closed the door, shoving his hands into his pockets, smirking as he walked toward me. "So, how did you sleep?"

The way he asked, I knew something was up. "Uh oh," I said, heading across the street to the library with Dakota by my side. "What did I do? Was it sleep talking or sleepwalking this time?"

Dakota laughed. "You sat straight up in bed and mentioned needing to talk to Cathy. From the way you said it, I knew you were asleep. So, I told you that it was okay and that you could talk to her tomorrow. So, you lay back down and went right back to sleep." He opened the library door and I stepped in and he followed.
