Zed opened his eyes hazily, The sun laser through the window making Zed's skin burn from the bright light signing as the day comes where he will get his punishment. Two Lovlarix soldiers greet him in his bedroom giving him no time to get ready with an expressionless face.
They yank Zed up from his bed and put him on chains enhanced ice frevor.
The Flagellation ritual is a sacred ritual made to punish people for their misdeeds, The king himself is making the chains signing just how much of importance this ritual is.
Fear strikes Fabiola's heart, This scene that is happening in front of her is scary enough to make her limp to the ground.
Two Lovlarix high soldiers with tremendous aura are dragging Zed by chains, Zed cannot do anything because the two soldiers is a True Knight rank giving Zed no chance to resist.
Walking through the kingdom streets, the crowd of people already gathered on the center part of the Taztarus kingdom where the stage already prepared, they give ridiculing and shocked expression as they look at Zed.
The icy wind strokes Zed's skin giving chills to his spine, The executor is waiting with a black whip made of Wild Beast skin with thorns all over it striking terror to anyone who sees it.
Zed brought to the stage where the speaker will give a brief speech of Zed's misdeeds with still two soldiers beside him.
"Zed Lenvers a newly recruited Lovlarix has killed Cathleen Asquith Amberborne the daughter of Maxwell Amberborne after making a promise to protect Cathleen. Zed Lenvers voluntarily accept the punishment given by Maxwell and an oath to get a level four flagellation ritual and help Eplodon city when it's in need. Zed misdeeds are clearly stated and we can proceed with the ritual"
After the old man finished the speech, Zed brought to a pole made of Hardened Wood. His hands are tied to the hardened wood giving his back to the crowd.
"LEVEL FOUR?! Only two people survived the ritual! and the two of them is one of the strongest body in the Taztarus Kingdom"
"The two of them has a body skill that strengthens their body that's why they can survive this ritual"
"I think he can survive judging from his body but he has to use a skill if not he will have zero percent of surviving"
"What a poor kid, He looks young but he will taste the level four flagellation ritual"
The crowd is talking to themselves as Maxwell get on the stage, He walks near Zed and whispers, "I trust that you can survive this Zed"
Zed nods and prepares himself by activating fifty percent of his Madman Rage Skill.
The executor slashes the whip to the pole where Zed is to try out the whip.

The whip roughly cut through the pole making everyone gasp in fear.
Seeing the result the executor nods to himself and gets ready to whip Zed, He brought his hands high up and slash down.

The whip came down to Zed's back making Zed's eyes went round due to the pain traveling throughout his body, The thorn on the whip bites a little chunk of Zed's flesh making the crowd turn their heads away.
Fabiola screamed in agony looking at Zed's back that has a bloody line just from one whip, Zed didn't utter any sound even though he is in much pain.

The whip continuously came down to Zed's body, the whip looks like a shadow because of how fast it is going.
One, two, five, twenty whips come to Zed's body when suddenly.
GONG!, GONG!, GONG!
After hearing the sound of the bell all the crowd face went pale especially the faces of the big five cities, The executor stop in his track when a running soldier report to the old man.
"Jestin city is under attack, The flagellation ritual for Zed Lenvers will be postponed" Declared the old man.
Zed is shocked by the turning event, The executor opens his chains and let Zed go when Nicholas gives him a nod.
The bell is a sign of a crisis happening on the Taztarus Kingdom territory, One bell signs as a little conflict with thieves or bandit, Two bells signs as an attack to small cities, three bells signs as an attack to the big cities and four bells signs as an attack to the Kingdom.
Zed and Nicholas walk fast side by side towards the Lovlarix training ground where thousands of armed soldiers lined up neatly.
"What happened? Why did everyone be in such a hurry?" Asked Zed to Nicholas.
"Jestin City found a Baby Blue Neleveite, It is a material needed to make a Magical Equipment with water frevor. The Asitadian Kingdom got a whiff of it and they prepare to give an all-out assault to Jestin City. The Asitadian Kingdom and the Taztarus Kingdom are in a cold war for a while so the appearance of the priceless Baby Blue Neleveite makes the Asitadian Kingdom turn hostile" Explained Nicholas with a troubled expression.
"Oh here is your new weapon, It is two sets of level two hardened equipment" Nicholas gives a thick black spear that is two times longer than Zed It has a pointy spearhead with a crescent blade beside it made to thrust and cleave and a black javelin with a spearhead that is long and thin that looks sharp made to be thrown.
Zed tried to touch the spearhead and to his surprise, his hand bleeds a little, Zed thanked Nicholas due to the wonderful gifts.
Jestin city is located fifty kilometers northwest of the Taztarus Kingdom near Dierge Caldera Valley and Bronze Rift Mountain. The Jestin city has a Natural Wonder, it is a Water Cave that helps water mages comprehend faster so with Baby Blue Neleveite the city will grow stronger which basically means that the Taztarus Kingdom grows stronger, the Asitadian Kingdom is jealous of it so they turn hostile.
The training ground's vibes are tense, Soldiers lined up to each other with sweat on their foreheads. The vibes choked Zed making him hard to breathe, The icy atmosphere makes the hearts of every soldier gripped, The sound of adrenaline pumping can be heard from afar.
"Go to the Elite Section they will assign you there," Said Nicholas while pointing to lines of soldiers clad in dark grey color that gives off a superior aura.
Zed nods his head and jogs to the Elite Section.
"Zed Lenvers put this on and line up, Move!"
The silent and tense atmosphere is making one gulp their saliva then a loud voice was heard.
"Attention Men!" it is Nicholas in a red armor standing straight like a pillar, He continues " I see the fear in your eyes that I feel when I experiencing my first war, The war where I fight the cowards of Asitadian Kingdom. The day has come, The day when the courage of men fails, The same kind of fight that many men die, Do you hear it? Cries of men that fall in battle, Learn from them! Take their death as a lesson. Bold moves from the cowards, they forgot the terror of sword and magic of the Taztarus Kingdom. This day is the day of Cowards and Champions, So which will you be? Cowards? or CHAMPIONS!"
"CHAMPIONS!" All thousands of soldiers shout in unison.
"Champion will write the history as they like! If you want to be a Champion then grip your weapons, strengthen your will, and let's swim in blood TONIGHT!"
"CHAMPIONS!CHAMPIONS!" All the soldiers brought their fist up high while shouting with determination, All their fears wiped away, The adrenaline pumped through their body giving them tremendous power as they shout for the war that is ahead of them.
Zed is astonished by the effect brought by the speech given by Nicholas, He cannot help but to admire Nicholas and thinking that how it feels like to be in his position. The effect influenced even Zed, He even shouts will all his power.
But he didn't forget that War will bring glory to the winner and death to the losers.
