Chapitre 15: A Lesson
The midnight is calm and cozy for most people because at this time one can relax their mind and go to sleep or diligently trying to break through a rank that needs tranquility.
But not for people near the Goddess Blessing.People near Goddess Blessing cannot help but be annoyed and closed their ears.
"I just saved you why are you yelling at me? leave me alone" from the tone of this man's voice one can say that this man is annoyed by something or someone.
"Yes so? are you not going to say something?" said a woman with an angry tone.
This man and woman were of course Zed and the blonde girl.
"Shouldn't YOU say something to me?" Zed questioned with a Skeptic's face.
"Should I say thank you to you? Hah! you wish! you should be thankful that you have a chance to save me" said the blonde girl with a prideful manner.
Just before Zed can answer back, five people enter the room.
One is an old man with wrinkles all over his face wearing a violet-colored robe, The rest of the five they look like guards.
"Young Miss what happened here?" The old man asked.
"This guy annoyed me, teach him a lesson" answered the blond girl.
The old man is puzzled, because how come Zed annoyed his young miss when Zed is in the male section bathe.
Not questioning any further the old man look at Zed's direction with a menacing look on his face.
"Young man how dare you annoyed our young miss" said the old man to Zed.
Hearing this, Zed replied "I saved that girl, but she keeps bothering me and ask me to say something when it is supposed to be the other way around".
The old man became more puzzled, he thought 'young miss is making trouble again but I cannot go against young miss's word'.
Not bothering to think again, the old man took his saber out and get into his stance.
Looking at the old man who's getting ready to fight, Zed then released his Knight Rank aura and take his raging black.
After the old man saw Zed's aura, he became more hesitant to fight with Zed.
'Judging from this man's face he is young and if he is a knight rank then his backing is probably a scary one' the old man thought.
The old man himself is a level five knight rank that is assigned to protect the blond girl.
The old man then said, "Young man this is a misunderstanding we hope you don't take it to heart".
after saying that the old man then whispered to the blond girl "Young miss I don't think we can mess with him let's just drop this matter".
Hearing that the blond girl snapped, "I don't care I want you to teach him a little lesson, just hurt him a bit".
Knowing that his young miss will not change her mind, the old man then turns to Zed with a wry smile on his face, "Young man, I hope you can understand that I am not but only a servant".
The old man then tosses Zed's clothes and belonging.
After Zed put on his clothes, The old man immediately charged at Zed with his saber.
In a split second a battle breakout, Zed and the old man are already trading blows.
A fight between knight ranks can make the floor cracked and destroyed walls their strengths had entered a superhuman level.
The old man dance with his saber, he is a knight rank who assimilate with Agility and Strength frevor.
The old man move is smooth and beautiful it is so different from Zed's move which is rougher.
After blocking a heavy slash from Zed, the old man make a distance between them, and his saber glows white.
"Cleaving thousand slash".
After saying that, the old man slashed faster with his saber.
Zed is overwhelmed with the old man's skill and cannot help but to sustain cuts here and there.
After an intense moment of trading blows, they separate.
The old man has a doubtful expression on his face, 'This young man is amazing to reach knight rank at his age but he doesn't have anything other than his brute strength, and his mastery over his spear is so shallow'.
"Young man you are not fit to be a knight, your mastery of you weapon is too shallow and you don't even have a skill, you are no match for me". said the old man to Zed intending to make Zed surrender.
The old man's words hurt Zed's ego, feeling really frustrated because Zed can't hit the old man even once.
Zed said with a sinister aura around him, "Old man! I'm not done yet".
With a hum, Zed's eyes glow blue.
After his eyes glow blue, Zed pounced to the old man.
The old man was shocked due to Zed's glowing eyes and increased speed.
The old man turned serious, his body gave off a white smoke and he then easily evade Zed's attack.
The old man agility is astonishing, He is like an eel which slips past Zed's every attack.
Zed and the old man are too focused on fighting that they didn't realize that they're already outside of Goddess Blessing.
The Goddess Blessing is turning a blind eye towards the event.
Due to Zed's explosive anger and his condition, Zed cannot help but feel tired.
Thinking that he cannot beat the old man because of the old man's agility, Zed decided to make a run for it.
Looking at the back of the running Zed, the old man decided to not chase after Zed.
Turning around, the old man then enters the Goddess Blessing again.
Zed is running while looking back once in a while, Knowing that the old man decided not to chase after him Zed then find an inn to sleep and call it a night.
Zed then decided to sleep in the best inn in Eplodon City, called 'Water Crystal'
Checking into a room costing fifty gold, he then called it a night.
Waking up late, Zed then goes down to have a meal in the inn.
The meal consists of Common Wild Beast meat which can be considered a luxury.
After taking his meal Zed then goes back to his room, Zed then thinks how can he came out if that crazy blond girl is out there.
He mumbled to himself, "I hope I can change my appearance", realizing what he just said he shook his head.
But suddenly his back felt severe pain.
His back felt like it is burning, he grits his teeth to help him endure the sudden pain.
After a whole ten minutes, the pain gradually becomes lesser and lesser until it's gone.
Then a hologram appeared in front of Zed.
"One of the restrictions to a bloodline is unlocked, Congratulations!".
When Zed read the hologram he then feels excited, 'am I going to get another bloodline?!' he thought.
After waiting for five minutes nothing happened.
He then curses the sorcery while exiting Water Crystal heading to the Central Shop to find a suitable skill for him.
