Chapitre 173: I Don't Know

Devin opened his eyes slowly when he heard the birds chirping outside his room window. The sunlight passed through his drawn curtains, making him narrow his eyes as he slowly sat up, realizing that Angeal was no longer beside him. 

'Ah... she's gone.'

"Good morning!"

Hearing Ivar first thing in the morning wasn't Devin's cup of tea. Most of the time he had found him very annoying which made him wonder sometimes why he had become best friends with him. The Soul Eater sighed deeply as his eyes landed on Ivar who was sitting on the couch as he browsed his phone. 

"If you're looking for Angeal, she woke up early and had started doing their chores. Of course, with you sick, the job in the house would be doubled," he said, making Devin narrow his eyes at him. 

"Did I ask you where Angeal is?" he asked, making his personal servant laugh.
