Ryan gripped the throttle hard as beads of sweat ran down his forehead, and the tension in the cockpit was so thick that it could block a sword.

Ryan was not the only one pressurized by the situation, as Shiora and Shakidra had a frown on their faces.

While Ylerias sat impassively, Michalina was drilling a hole through Ryan's head with her glare, but what threw Ryan off course was Xuelong's reaction.

'I thought I would have to beg her forgiveness, maybe suffer her verbal and physical assault, but she was amused.'

Ryan gritted his teeth as sudden anger rose in him, 'I hope Xuelong is not playing games with me.'

Ryan's anger dissipated as a recent memory surfaced, and a shiver ran down his spine, 'Or she is planning something nasty for me.'
