Ryan gave a discreet nod as he followed after one of Xue's subordinates.

After Xue's arrival, Xue's subordinates were of great help as they helped to secure and search the city.

As Ryan spotted Xue, he spoke with a smile, "Uncle Xue, you asked for me?"

"Yes, Ryan, an old man has called for parley and wishes to speak with some one from earth."

Ryan frowned as Xue continued, "The old man is crafty, be vigilant."

"Why are you allowing me to speak to him then?"

"He wishes to speak with an Earthling, and you are the only Earthling whom I can trust, and also, the old man has surrendered and promised information."

Ryan ran his hand through his hair as he spoke with a sigh, "I will bungle it up, as I do not possess training in such matters."

"Do not worry, you will be fine, and just chat with him casually."

"Can we not interrogate him?"
