Chapitre 21: Something to make him forget it
*next day
We were at the venue arranging chairs and other things.
The chairs took more time than I expected.
I sighed and sat down with a thump.
"Gosh! It's really difficult to arrange chairs."
"We've still gotta do a lot. Come on." Jungkook said and pulled.
"You're the one who's rushing now."
"It's my brother's wedding. It should be good." He said.
"I know that." I said and walked with him.
"Drink this." He said and handed a banana milkshake.
"What is this for?"
"To drink, what else for?"
"I know that. But I usually don't drink banana milkshake."
"Drink this. It'll taste good. It's also like an energiser."
I trusted him and took a sip. And he was true. It tasted good and i felt energetic.
I drank half and gave him the rest.
I pulled him without telling anything. Nor did he ask anything.
"Where's that guy?" I whispered to myself.
"Which guy?"
"Uh.... the guy who takes after everything here."
"For what?"
"He said he has the list of food items that are gonna be. But he's nowhere to be seen."
"He said he'll be in that room." He said pointing to a room.
I went and opened the door wide opened and to my surprise, it was the worst thing ever I've ever seen.
That guy was having sex with some girl. I turned and covered my face in Jungkook's jacket and walked pushing him backwards.
"We're far enough from there." He said.
I faced him and anger grew in me.
"Who kept this guy as the worker here?" I asked angry, looking at him.
"I don't know." He said like a child.
"Wh.... really? I can't believe. Ughhhh!!!!!" I shouted in anger.
That guy came running.
"You don't have any sense?" I asked him.
"You do this at work time? And if you're doing it also, can't you lock the freaking door?"
"I'm really sorry ma'am."
"What's the use of asking sorry? Just don't be in my sight. Just go. Where's the list?" I said and he gave it and left.
I sighed.
"Let's go." I said. But he stood there and looked at me shocked.
"Just come." I pulled him.
We continued our work. But Jungkook was thinking about something so much.
"What are you thinking about?" I asked as I went to him.
"Don't get me wrong but The thing keeps visualising in my mind. I can't get out of it. I haven't seen a woman naked but she was....." Before he could finish, I cut his sentence.
"Enough! I didn't ask for description. Seriously?! You're joking." I asked.
"I'm not. Is there something to make it forget?" He asked.
"Kookie is this really you? I can't understand you really at times."
I couldn't imagine this was Jungkook my friend. I thought what would distract him.
He was so much into thinking about something or the same thing.
I stood in front of him and looked at him.
"Have anything?" He asked.
I turned his cheek to my right and kissed his left cheek.
His eyes grew wider and his mouth hung open.
"Did you forget?"
"N-n-n-ne." He said in a low voice.
I patted his cheek, smiled and continued my work.
I didn't know why I wanted him to forget it. Why did i kiss him, why did I didn't want him to think like that? A lot these questions were running in my mind.
I went to the washroom and looked at myself in the mirror.
I smiled at myself. I rewinded it and smiled more.
I went back out and looked at him. He continued working, smiling.
*time skip
Everything was finally over. We sat down to have dinner.
Jin oppa had come. Without hesitating, I got up and asked him immediately.
"Oppa, who appointed that worker?"
"I did. Anything wrong?"
"No, everything's fine." I said sarcastically and sat down and started eating.
"What is wrong? Did he not do his job properly?"
"Ani. He was having sex in middle of work." Jungkook said coolly.
"How do you even say it so casual?"
"W-what? He had what?" Oppa asked.
"Are you deaf oppa?"
"Where's he?"
"I asked him to leave."
"I'll get another good guy."
"No need hyung. We already finished half of the work."
"Yeah. There's no use of keeping someone now." I said and ate.
"As you wish." He said and sat down.
"I forgot. We have to order a cake." I said with my mouth full.
"Don't worry about that. I've already selected one. And it'll be here in the wedding day." Jin oppa said.
"You're the best." I said pinching his cheeks.
I finished eating, but Jungkook was still eating. Finishing everything till the last bite.
"How much do you eat?"
"You shouldn't waste food. So I'll finish everything." I looked at him confused.
"He's always like that. Even though you snatch something he likes, he'll chase after you and never leaves you until he gets his revenge."
I looked at him and laughed.
I went back to work. Jungkook joined me later.
Only a day was left for oppa's wedding. We did our best for today's work. Just one more day, for the big day to come.
We finished our work and went back home. I felt really exhausted. As soon as I went, I refreshed and slept. It was a tiring day.
*next day
We were spending the whole day in the venue. No time to take a break today.
The hall was decorated. The name board was kept. The food was decided. The lights were fixed. The bouquets were bought. Everything was perfect.
It was almost 8 at night. We finally finished everything and sat down.
We had our dinner. We were really exhausted that we didn't have the energy to talk.
We got into the car and left home. I felt really tired, I slept in the car.

Jungkook's POV
Driving home, I saw y/n asleep. She worked a lot for my brother's wedding. How will she be in her brother's wedding?
She works a lot nowadays. Even though she gets tired easily, she never gives up.
I kept looking at her in between. I can't really believe she kissed me to forget about it.
It actually did help. But why did she do it? Why she chose to kiss me? I rewinded the kiss, looked at her and smiled.
We reached home. I didn't wanna wake her up, so I carried her to her room.
I put her on the bed, removed her shoes and tucked her in the bed.
"Thank you." She whispered and slept.
I smiled, patted her head and went back to my room.
I couldn't sleep. I was thinking about the times we kissed.
Y/n, how do I tell you I like you. You make my heart go crazy. Whenever you touch me, I feel like my heart's gonna pop out of my chest.
I've known y/n for a long time, even though we haven't met before. I used to see her secretly.
I met her when I was around 14 or 15 years. But not in person. We both were kids at that time. I don't know when and why I liked her still. She's really beautiful, caring, kind, and loves being herself. She doesn't change for anyone.
Is it her character that made me fall for her? Gosh, y/n! You're doing something to me. I really have to tell my feelings before she's taken.
Thinking about her, I fell asleep.

Y/n's POV
I woke up and saw myself in the bed. I rewinded what happened yesterday.
Jungkook brought me here. And I said something, but I don't remember.
I refreshed and went down. I made some breakfast for both and waited for him to come.
"You're all fresh today." Jungkook said as he sat down. I nodded.
"Thanks for carrying me all the way to the bed."
"It's ok." He said smiling.
We finished eating and left to the venue.
Everything was perfect at the venue. The only thing we needed to do was check the bride's and groom's rooms and recheck everything.
We each got into each of the rooms. I checked everything and everything was perfect. I headed out and waited for Jungkook to come.
*ring ring
My phone rang. It was Eun Jung. I was worried why she called at this time. I attended it immediately.
"Hello Unnie. Any problem?"
"Y/n, I need your help. We have to say our vows and I don't know what to say."
"Unnie, you scared me for a second. I was really worried and you tell me this?"
"Please help me."
"Unnie, how do I know? You're the one who loves him and you're the one who was with him."
"At least tell me what I can say."
"Umm.... you can say how you felt when you met him first. What you like about him and what made you like him and other things like that. How you feel when you're with him."
"That's a lot. I couldn't even think of these. Thanks a lot y/n."
"No mention Unnie. All the best."
*end of call
I turned and was surprised to see Jungkook.
We both were really close.
"W-when did you come?"
"When you said 'all the best' to noona."
I sighed.
"What were you talking about?"
"What were you doing in for a long time?"
"Answer mine first."
"No. You say first and then I'll tell."
"I was talking with hyung."
"What did you talk with him?" I asked placing my hands on my hips.
"That I can't tell." He said.
"Same way, I also can't tell. The groom should not know anything about what bride the talks to her friend before the marriage."
"You're not gonna tell me then." I nodded.
"I thought of telling you."
"I'm not changing my decision even if you're telling. So don't even think I'll tell."
He smiled and looked at me.
"You're not gonna change your mind. It's fine. I also won't tell. Shall we go?" I smiled and nodded.
We left and reached home soon.
I went to my room, refreshed and lay down on the bed.
I was thinking about the bet we had. What if Tae oppa really proposes Jenny Unnie?
I'd be happy for them but would it be soon? Like very soon?
No! What am I even thinking? He's happy with her and I shouldn't do anything now. I'll be really happy if they do get married but I don't know why I feel off about it.
Thinking about it, I fell asleep.
