Chapitre 223: Already Excited

Kalista and Darenn sat on the area the Earth Familiar chose for them. With them settling down on their respective seat, Kalista looked down, not used to someone sitting across her.

Heck, the only person whom she ate out with was always with her father! Sometimes, they don't even eat together with them being busy all the time!

Darenn noticed that Kalista is feeling uneasy. With him pouring her a glass of water, he talked to her, slightly startling her.

"You… also have not eaten outside with someone else?"

Kalista shook her head. With her pouting as she slumped, she felt shy answering his question, but she still did, anyway.

"Yes… I'm used to eating alone either at home or outside… I have never tried being treated out before, too."

Darenn knew as much. With him holding Kalista's hand on the table, it took her by surprise, making her look directly into Darenn's eyes.
