Elize ran as fast as she could. The traitors. They had left for the packhouse without her, she thought in complaint as she sped through the forest. As she passed the barrier to the wolf's territory, a few heads shot up with their glowing eyes turned towards her direction. But they quickly bowed in respect recognizing the white coat of fur. Elize nodded back without slowing down. 

Today she wanted to run, at least till she was tired enough to stop thinking about all these thoughts that kept pushing into her head. It hadn't taken her much time to convince Aileen to lower the shields for a few days. The old woman herself was quite happy to indulge in the wedding planning and had suggested a few ideas of her own.
