Alex could tell Claire didn't like this place so he didn't like it either. The food was delicious but the only Oreos available were the ones he brought here with him and those wouldn't last long.

When it came to food this place seemed more like headquarters than Claire's house. Only taking what you were given and nothing more.

He still didn't understand everything these people had been saying but it was obvious that she didn't like it. He had been around her long enough now to be able to read most of her facial expressions and gestures.

Right now she was frustrated, pacing around their bedroom and muttering to herself. Alex was used to her talking to herself and various inanimate objects so he didn't mind. He was able to hear everything she was saying anyway.
