Gan was almost certain that the 4-star egg was a Feebas from route 119. Thinking about it, it had the same coloration and it also came from the same place Feebas normally appeared.
"No, I'm certain that this is a Feebas egg, it couldn't be any other Pokemon." Feebas wasn't as useless as Magikarp, since Feebas could actually use useful moves.
"Though both are practically useless, once they evolved they were both extremely powerful." Gyarados and Milotic had the same base stats, which were exceptionally high.
"Milotic should be a good pick once I reach the Hoenn region, it would great for my Water type." Gan stood up and asked Kadabra about the people outside.
"They're still waiting outside," Kadabra confirmed.
"Okay, let's teleport out of here. Let's teleport into an alley, you know, the alley seen on our way. By doing this, we won't draw any attention ourselves."
This was Gan's plan all along, he didn't need to waste his time confronting troublesome people. He could save himself the trouble and just warp away.
"It can be done." Suddenly, violet energy locked onto Gan and he warped away in a blink of light.
Moments later, Gan found that the scenery had changed. He appeared in some alleyway filled with trash cans and dumpsters.
The minutes he appeared, several Rattata and Pidgey dispersed from the area due to fright. Gan gazed around and found that the coast was clear.
"Is there anyone around?" Gan asked Kadabra.
"Not at the moment, the alleyway is completely vacant," Kadabra said bluntly.
Hearing this, Gan changed his outfit from the one he was wearing. He was sure that the people from the auction saw his outfit.
Not wanting to be recognized and possibly tracked, Gan quickly switched to another outfit. Once changed, he left the alley and returned to Viridian City's core area.
Gan had spent 3 hours in the auction, so it was around 3:00 Pm.
-----
Back at the auction, several individuals were still waiting for Gan to leave his room.
"When is this guy going to leave his room? Does he plan to live in there?"
"He must be scared out of his wits, but it's understandable. This guy is going to learn that in this world, there are people you offend so casually or minorly."
"Let's wait a bit and see what happens." A few big men were on standby.
And just like that, twenty minutes flew by in a flash but nothing. They even called the room, but the person in room six didn't answer.
Someone finally grew impatient and went to check. Surprisingly, the door was unlocked and once they looked inside; there was nothing!
"Impossible! He's not here!" The man who checked the room called out in shock.
"What?! Where did he go?" Everyone around ran over and saw the empty room.
"This doesn't make sense... wait, could he have possibly taken a secret entrance out to escape?" A bulky man concluded.
"This is possible, I wouldn't be surprised about it. The staff members around here seem to treat this guy with high regard."
"Huh? There's a note on the table." A staff came inside, ready to defuse a fight if it was to arise. However, once he found out that the room was empty, he was relieved and stunned.
He picked up the note and turned it over, and there he saw writing.
[Thanks for the hospitality, I was able to buy many things from your amazing auction. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay because many butt sniffers kept sniffing around. Yes, I'm talking about those trashy poor sore losers from rooms 5 and 2, they're garbage. They're lucky I have better things to do with my [previous time], or else, I'd slapped them and the mothers that birthed them!]
[Ps. They can all suck this >🖕< :D!]
[Sincerely, Mr. Hank]
"...." The staff member who read this was stunned with disbelief.
"What is it? What does the note say?" One of the fierce looming men asked curiously.
The staff member didn't say anything and simply handed the fierce man the note.
"HOW DARE HE?!" The fierce man roared. His face was red with rage, he couldn't believe someone was so arrogant!
"What? What's wrong? Why is scarface so angry?"
"I don't know but it probably has something to do with that note."
Once the bigshots from rooms 2 and 5 heard about the contents of the note; they exploded in fury. They demanded the auction to give them details about the man from room six, but the auction was silent and didn't disclose any details.
"Mr. Hank, you f**cker, you just wait! No one gets away with insulting me and my mom!" The white-suited man held his chest, his heart rate had sped up from fury.
"I can't let this bastard keep living! Ask around about a guy named Mr. Hank, find anything you can!" The man from room 2 hollered at his men—seething with rage.
"Y-yes sir, right away!" The groups of men ran out of the room hurriedly.
This man wore a golden suit with a red rose attached to his suit jacket.
"Damn it! To dare talk about my momma!" Not only that, the guy claimed that he and the other guy was poor. He also emphasized that he had better things to do than deal with them.
This was equivalent to Gan calling them small-time characters, which was a sheer insult.
"You just wait, Mr. Hank!" Both of these men clenched their fists tightly and said in unison despite being in different rooms.
-----
Gan was unaware of the outrage, but even he did know he would probably laugh and shrug it off. He was currently sitting on a bench in the city square thinking to himself.
Gan pulled out his Pokedex and found that he had collected 83 different Kanto species of Pokemon. He was 17 away from completing his next mission and earning a new reward—with the possibility of a new mission activating.
"I'll need to start evolving some Pokemon to fill my Pokedex a bit more." Gan had caught many Pokemon, but he hadn't evolved a lot of them.
"I'll stay in this city and leave tomorrow, so for now, I should sort out what Pokemon I want to evolve." Gan stood up and went to an Inn to stay for a night.
Gan checked the evolutionary item he had bought from the auction.
"This Link Cord should be able to evolve Haunter, Machoke, Kadabra, and Graveler." Gan had two, but in his opinion, he wanted to evolve Kadabra and Haunter.
Kadabra would receive a serious power spike once he became an Alakazam. The same applied to Haunter, who would become a Gengar.
Gengar was needed for his next heist, surely it would do better as a Gengar than a Haunter. Gan made his final decision and opted to evolve the two.
Gan summoned both and told them what was going on. Both were excited to hear this, though, Kadabra didn't express it much—Gan could tell. This could be due to some sort of connection he formed with Kadabra.
Both Link Cords were applied to their body and with a flash of light, their evolution began. Gan covered his eyes due to the blinding light. This was due to him having the curtains closed, so it was dark in the room.
In seconds, they had taken on their last and final forms—Alakazam and Gengar!

Gan was so excited, he felt like a cool guy for just having these amazing Pokemon. He now had 85 Pokemon with 15 remaining before his mission was complete.
Gengar was all smiled while Alakazam floated with his leg crossed and eyes closed.
"Gengar!" Gengar floated in excitement before doing a backflip in mid-air. She seemed happy about her new form and newfound strength.
"How do you feel?" Gan asked.
"I feel like new possibly have been opened to me. Like I understand so much more, I also remember my trainer better before meeting you."
Alakazam couldn't be described as dumb, in fact, the word wouldn't make sense when put in the same sentence as it. It had always known that Gan wasn't its original trainer, and it meditated on it a lot.
Gan's forehead broke out into a cold sweat when he heard this. What did this mean?
"It doesn't mean anything, I know how corrupt my previous trainer was. His Dad and Grandfather run an underground fighting ring. Many Pokemon have died in this underground, some were experimented on and even used for 'personal entertainment'."
"What? Personal entertainment?" Gan's thoughts went wild, he was hoping it wasn't what he was thinking.
"That too." Alakazam could see Gan's thoughts.
"Oh my god, there are people smashing Pokemon?!" He had heard about it in games and even in a few mangas, but this was too much when faced with the reality of it.
"No worries, I'm here to stay. The past is just a ghost." Alakazam said as he turned to Gengar.
Time passed as Gan lay on his bed in thought. He had not recalled Gengar and Alakazam as the two were actually playing a game of chess.
Alakazam didn't know how to play the game at first, but once Gan explained how it worked. Alakazam learned quickly and had even defeated him at every turn.
Alakazam was many steps ahead of Gan, no, it was like he knew what move Gan would make before he could act on it. Thus, he had several countermeasures in play to corner Gan.
Gengar was no different and was defeated at every turn—frustrating her. Fortunately, Alakazam didn't translate Gengar words because she was spewing profanity with each defeat.
Gan wondered where she learned to talk like that. She probably heard it during the time she spent in the Lavender Town's Tower.
Gan thought about the team he wanted to formulate to evolve soon and add to his Pokedex.
His first thought was Dratini since it was close to becoming a Dragonair at level thirty. Besides, Dragonite was a must-have for his team—a Pokemon he couldn't go wrong with.
Charmander as well; all it needs is one more level to become a Charmeleon. Gan thought about Growlithe since it was his strongest Pokemon in terms of level.
He pulled out his Pokedex and saw that there were several updates on it. Gan received information that the system had updated and upgraded his Pokedex.
This Pokedex had tons of information about when a Pokemon learned its moves, etc.
"Hmm, I can't evolve Growlithe now unless I can find a Move Tutor. For now, I won't evolve it unless I can find someone that can Move Tutor."
There were good moves that Growlithe could learn as it was, such as Play Rough and Flare Blitz.
"Oh, boy, if I don't find a tutor soon, I'll have to wait for her to learn these moves." This would take too long. Hopefully, he could find a move teacher before too long.
Gan checked a few other things that appeared as new on his Pokedex. This system, of course, updated all these things.
"A new region?" Gan was stunned. His Pokedex was like Serebii, where all the Pokemon information was stored.
"Paldea region? Is there really such a region in canon?" Gan wasn't sure if it was made up to fill the void or what.
"No way, Primeape has a new evolution!" Gan was now shocked and sat up in his bed staring at his Pokedex.
Gan stared at the new Pokemon known as Annihilape!
