Chapitre 7: 7. Supernatural
After Katsuo wakes me up I thank him.
"For what?" asks Katsuo.
"For helping me through this nightmare" I reply.
"Oh, well I'm just glad I could help" He replies with a smile, he helps me up and I stumble to my room still half asleep, I get changed into a black shirt and jeans, after getting changed I go to the kitchen to start cooking, Katsuo was already waiting there to teach me how to cook.
We spend some time goofing around in the kitchen before we started cooking.
"So what are we cooking?" asks Katsuo.
"Hows bacon and eggs sound?" I ask.
"If you ask me bacon and eggs are the best breakfast meal for a beginner chef to cook," says Katsuo, my stomach starts to rumble.
"Arr that wasn't me" I exclaim.
"Ha sounds like we should start cooking" he takes out the ingredients and tells me what to do, I start to cook and follow the instructions Katsuo tells me, he watches over my shoulder, for some reason my heart starts to race, he gets close to see what I'm am doing.
He realises how close he is and backs up slowly, but trips on his own shoelace and falls forward into my back and almost pushes me into the pan, he grabs me to prevent me from falling into the pan and pulls me onto the floor, I know I should be angry that he almost killed me but when he pulled me away from the pan I fell on top of him and was laying on him, I turned red and my heart started to beat faster and faster.
"S-sorry, I didn't mean to..." he stuttered and redder than ever, "I don't mean to be rude but can you get off of me"
"O-ok," I say as I start moving to get off of him when I feel a bulge where Katsuo crotch area was pocking me on the side of my leg, holy shit, is that what I think it is, I jump back.
"Umm sorry again," says Katsuo as he gets up to go to his room.
I sit there on his kitchen floor thinking about what just happened, I know I jumped back but it wasn't out of disgust... I wonder if he got that because of me?
A few minutes later Katsuo came out of his room.
"Um so how is breakfast going," he asks awkwardly.
"Oh, I forgot about that" I reply as I turn to the pan and see a puff of smoke rase from the pan.
I run to the fire extinguisher and extinguished the pile of black mush sitting in the bottom of the pan.
"Sorry... I burnt it again" I say as I turn to face him.
"No its fine, how about I cook the rest for now" he offers.
"That probably a good idea" I reply.
After Katsuo cooks breakfast, I set the table and he serves the food, we sit the opposite of each other in awkward silence.
"So about before, did you have a..." I ask out of curiosity.
"Umm... no, I dont know what you're talking about," he says obviously lying, "No offence but I'd rather not talk about it"
"Oh ok," I respond, I think that reaction means it was, I should probably drop it, I know if I was in his shoes I would be embarrassed too.
After the awkward breakfast, Katsuo offers to take me to Yokosuka High School on his motorbike, I obviously accepted his offer with joy.
Like hey always does when I'm on the motorbike he takes off at high speed down the street, I think he does it because he wants me to hold onto him tighter but that's just a guess, anyway with the speed we were travelling at we got there in no time.
We get off the bike and take our helmets off.
"Oh hi Katsuo," says a voice from behind, we turn around to see Akari and her sister Shiro.
"Why are you with that girl and who is she?" asks Shiro.
"Oh, this is my friend Sato Yui, I just call her Hina," Katsuo says to Shiro.
"Why Hina?" asks Shiro.
"For some reason, I feel like I've heard that name before," Says Akira
"Anyway we should get going," says Akari trying to rush her sister and not making eye contact with Katsuo.
"Oh, ok," says Shiro as her sister pushes her towards the school.
"Oh, I see things are still awkward between you and Akari," I say.
"Yeah, she doesn't even respond to my messages anymore," Katsuo says with his head hanging down in shame "This is why I'll never confess to a female friend again, I dont want my relationships ending like this"
"Well, you never know, one of them might actually have feelings for you, maybe you should try asking them out," I say trying to convince him to ask me out.
"Maybe... but I want to be sure before I do" he replies. We stand there in awkward silence, why does this always happen? Why is it when romance gets involved between to friends it always becomes awkward? And what happens if he doesn't have feelings for me? and what happens if I just convinced him to confess to his crush and its not me... Then what? I'll be alone...
"Hina?" says Katsuo.
"Sorry, I was lost in thought," I say.
"I noticed, what were you thinking about?" asks Katsuo.
I start to blush, "Arr its nothing" I yelp.
"Anyway, how are we meant to get in without getting kicked out?" I ask.
"Well we could go in after school ends and everyone goes to there clubs, on the website they said they allow people into certain clubs to ask questions about the topic" replies Katsuo.
"Ok, but I think we're a little early," I say.
"Yeah sorry after what happened this morning I kinda freaked out and forgot," he says turning red at the thought of what happened this morning, "and I'm sorry about this morning"
"It's fine," I say.
"I was actually kinda happy," I say under my breath.
"You were?" Katsuo says as his face turns redder and redder from embarrassment.
"Oh, Fuc... You heard that I forgot not to say things out loud around you" I say out of embarrassment, "I mean no I didn't say that"
We both look at each other in the eyes.
"Um so sorry love birds, I'm going to have to ask you to leave campus, if you hear for the club activities then you should come at three fifteen pm" an old man wearing a suit was standing right next to us and we didn't see him.
"Sorry sir, we're just leaving now," Katsuo says to the man.
