Chapitre 3: Chapter 3 final selection
After Haku defeated the demons the men finally woke up confused after Haku explained the situation they thanked Haku for saving them and Haku apologized for the man's arm
when going back Haku saw more confused people
Haku:'It seems she put them here to ambush anyone that comes by...i guess it's time to leave I'll just act confused as well and get out'
after leaving Haku then went back on his way to the final selection
after finally getting there Haku
walked up the stairs to see other participants in the final selection
after walking around Haku found something extremely annoying
Haku:'Why is he looking at me as if I'm gonna commit some sort of crime, the wisteria flower is already making me sick ,maybe he'll go away after a while'

'That guy has the smell of a demon coming off of him, what is a demon doing here'

After that ,the final selection began
Haku:'Survive 7 days huh? isn't this too easy? anyone could just run away from the demons for 7 days right? well it's none of my business'
Haku:"*Breath of blood : first form : Blood leech*"
Haku continued to decapitate demons using only the first form
then a tongue was flung at him ,Haku dodged but scratched his left eye
Haku:"I guess that's what i get for letting my guard down" he said as blood trickled down his face
"Heh you're dead now with your vision impaired you're going to be a great meal hehehe" said a salamander like demon
Haku:"*Breath of blood : second form : crimson curse*"
Haku cut the salamander's tongue
s.demon:"Huh? it's not regenerating , well doesn't matter"
Haku dashed towards the demon to cut it's neck but tens of tongues attacked him
Haku couldn't dodge all the tongues because of his left eye
Haku:'Damn it i couldn't dodge it all ,it might take an hour or so for my eye to heal back completely ,until then i have to either kill this guy or live till my eye heals'
s.demon:"Just give up and I'll kill you painlessly"
tongues continued to rain down attacks on Haku
Haku:'There's only one way i could win now ,body don't let me down now'
Haku:"*Breath of blood : Third form : Red moon*"
a blood red slash cut most of the tongues but one of them entered his blind spot and impaled Haku's neck
and Haku's body went limp
s.demon:"You should've just gave up from the beginning, eh well it's time to feast"
the demon began walking towards Haku's body and tried to take a bite of his neck
Haku:"*Breath of blood : fourth form : Blood fiend*"
S.demon:"What!?"
the demon quickly wrapped his tongues around his neck
but Haku's sword engulfed in claws of blood cut through the demon's neck
s.demon:"H-how a-re you a-alive"
Haku:"You simply let your guard down before the fight even began"
then the demon finally realized
s.demon:"D-demon, w-why are y-you"
Haku:"I'm not a full demon but it's well over enough to survive these kinds of injuries"
After the demon crumbled Haku began coughing blood
Haku:'That demon girl i fought from before she said something about 12 moons if i take what she said seriously then these 12 moons should be a big deal for demons ,but that girl was much weaker than this guy ,i guess she had the ability to get demons and humans under her, but even without taking my injuries into account this guy's much more troublesome"
Haku then used a tree to support his body
Haku:"I'm never going to let my guard down against even an ant after this is over" he said with a tired voice
days passed and it was the end of the final selection
the 2 girls that were at the beginning were there and the ones who passed
Haku:'so few huh?'
Haku was given a uniform and a black crow
then he was told to pick an ore for a sword but since he already has one he refused and left using his haori as and umbrella against the sun
Haku:'I'm going to have to try and do the total concentration breathing constant that my father told me about ,*sigh* why did i have to sulk about it being to hard ,i could've learned it by now,well no point dwelling on the past' he said as a few tears fall off his face
