Tori glanced over at her missing fingernail. 'I should have a discount when I get these nails done. I only have nine now.' She smiled at her silly thought. It was as if she did not want to recall the cause of her missing nail. She was standing by a tree. In this part of Lighthollow Glen, there were no lights from the sun, moon nor stars. You could hear crisp chirping sounds from small insects with six little wings on their backs. Their bodies were like small humans coated with green and blue glaze. No teeth. No hair. Bulging eyes like that of a cow's. There were only a few of them in that night meadow munching on the sour fruit from the tree where Tori was leaning on.
