Chapitre 96: Shadow's monologue

I watched from the rooftop of my High School as students walked to the festival opening venue while I ate a hamburger I bought recently.
My name is Hikari Kanaru, formerly known as Shadow. I'm a clone made of Dark Matter with consciousness and emotions. My memories are fragmented by the original. Besides that, I have no feelings of love for Misaki or the stupid dead Karui. I'm basically a free man since I lost connection to the original and I don't want to be cataloged the same way as him.
Still, it would be foolish to think that he is dead, he is almost an immortal, not even time can kill him... Oh well, if he doesn't reach level 6 in 2 years, he'll die.
But I'm different, I can die. I know I'm going to die soon when the original comes for the abilities he implanted in me: Dark Matter (Only as a basis for other abilities), Railgun (Level 2 / incomplete), Recovery (Level 2 / incomplete) and Fantasy World (Level 2 / complete).
The original wanted me to face Sogiita Gunha to raise the level of my Fantasy World skill to level 5. But I'm not interested in that.
Clone of God? Rika's safety for being a spy for the god clone? My courtship with Misaki? Karui's selfishness in our relationship from years ago? Sex with Sara in my world to suppress my libido?
Huh, is that last surprising? The original loves Misaki more than anything in the world, but she can't fully please him so he resorts to that little trick on a daily basis with Sara.
This world is full of lies.
I finished eating my hamburger and looked at my old cell phone.
It was full of messages and missed calls from Rika, she's probably dead by now or looking for me.
I left the rooftop and mingled with other students while chatting amiably with some of them.
Let's make things more interesting… there is one thing the original is very bad at, dating games… I will get over it in that respect while having fun in this world.
