Chapitre 8: Assimilation (2)
It was an empty world and everything around it was white.
It was terrifying to see nothing but the seemingly infinite white color.
In the middle of that world was a man with black hair and red eyes.
'Where I am?'
'What is my name?'
'What are these memories?'
The boy looked confused. He was scared for not knowing anything. He had memories that he didn't quite understand, he thought it was from someone else.
['I'm supposed to go to my medical classes at the District 7 main hospital taught by Heaven Canceller and then do my physics homework when I get home. Sakugawa Middle School is always very strict in theory classes, but It's very difficult for my level to increase with just those kinds of classes. I'm sure the maximum I'll reach with my ability is a level 3.']
['But that didn't matter to me. Seeing the smiles of the people I helped heal was the best thing I experienced in my 14 years of life. Academy City has given me a beautiful opportunity. Even though my parents are in heaven, I will show everyone that I can live on my own.']
"Those memories... apparently it's me"
"But honestly... why am I here?"
"A weird dream I guess... now what do I do?"
"Awake!"

"It doesn't work…"
The boy was very confused about his situation. He walked back and forth, but the environment never changed.
"Ok... this has already started to get a little scary."
*CRACK*
Suddenly at one point in the place, the space seemed to break like a mirror and out of that opening came a kid who didn't seem to be more than 11 years old. He had shoulder-length white hair. In fact, everything except his black eyes were white.
"Lyn, damn it, you took 4 years to enter your own world of your Dark Matter, what happened? how difficult was it to do? I was very careful to share/give away part of my Dark Matter with you, I even had to leave this clone of mine to guide you to use it better" The kid said with concern in his tone of voice. (Note: This clone of Kakine made from Dark Matter is independent of the original, that's why his appearance is so young and he doesn't know Lyn's 'first' death)
But seeing Kanaru's face, the kid dressed in white was surprised.
"Lyn..."
"She…"
"NO!"
The kid looked at Kanaru with a confused, sad and finally furious expression.
"BASTARD! YOU STOLE LYN'S DARK MATTER!" The kid screamed with all his might.
6 white wings that were not well distinguished by the environment spread from his back.
"What the hell?! What are you talking about?"
Although from the point of view of the black-haired boy this was all a dream, his whole body indicated that he should not be hurt by these attacks or he'll suffer a lot.
Unfortunately, when it was decided, it was too late, his right arm was dismembered.
"ARGHHHHH!" The boy screamed.
"RUBBISH! RUBBISH! RUBBISH! YOU'RE RUBBISH!" The kid dressed in white butchered the boy with the black hair.
Only his head was deliberately intact and for some strange reason, that head could still speak.
A part of the white world turned red.
"ARGHHHHH BUT WHY!" The black-haired boy exclaimed with all the force of his lungs; the kid dressed in white responded with the same intensity of voice.
"REVENGE! You killed the most important person in my life! She was innocent! She wasn't in this dark world of shit!"
"LYN?!" The black-haired boy began to remember.
'Lyn...'
'Pain…'
'Kihara Amata…'
'Electricity…'
'Hot…'
'Pressure…'
'Brazen bull…'
'Dismemberments…'
'Teitoku Kakine…'
'Kihara Souji…'
'Black-winged girl…'
"Naked girl. Supplicate. Eat. Much. Absorb. Dark Matter." The black-haired boy muttered words without any apparent meaning.
"What?!" However, the kid dressed in white understood perfectly what the black-haired boy was referring to and was much angrier.
When he was about to smash the head of the black-haired boy something happened in the blank space.
Slowly... the color black appeared in the white world and began to consume it without mercy.
'I…'
'I'm…'
"I'm Hikari Kanaru!"
"This is my world!"
"This is my Dark Matter!" Kanaru exclaimed.
His body in the blink of an eye was completely restored.
"How is this possible?!" Kakine said in an incredulous tone of voice.
"This isn't your world, asshole." Kanaru exclaimed and then...
"This is my world and I make the rules of my world!" The world seemed to hear those words and the black consumed the white in its entirety.
"I'll not allow a clone that isn't even connected to the original Teitoku Kakine to challenge my authority!" Kanaru exclaimed.
"No!" Kakine screamed and tried to dodge the darkness that consumed the world, but failed.
Quickly, he disappeared enveloped in a dark substance that joined with the world of Kanaru.
"You were just rubbish... huh?" Kanaru said, but then was surprised to see that the world was shaking.
Suddenly the space shook.
*CRACK*
*CRACK*
*CRACK*
*CRACK*
*CRACK*
*CRACK*
The space broke again into small cracks and 6 people came out of them. The strangest thing is that their bodies were semi-transparent. Their gazes were lost in this dark world.
'If I hadn't regained my senses, it would have been my end to meet those 6, although their power isn't much here, it was more than enough to kill me.' Kanaru thought.
Welcome level 5 mates! Why were you late for the party ?!" Kanaru exclaimed with a big smile and bowed slightly. Behind his back 6 black wings spread.
There were no responses from the 'guests'.
"Well... I'm not interested in talking to empty dolls from a stupid experiment anyway. I'm sure that one day I'll meet the originals." Kanaru said and his wings spread everywhere.
The darkness of the world consumed everything.
"Absorption complete!"
"Your abilities are one with my Dark Matter!"
"This is the power of my world!"
"My Dark Matter!"
Kanaru waved his hand and...
*CRACK*
The space cracked and he disappeared.
Everything was silent.
