Wang Jiaqi was arrested but it wasn't made public due to Jin Mingze's request. It was so that Tang Xue and Tang Yurou wouldn't know that their plan failed. He even ordered his men to spread the news of an accident just so they could deceive the two women.

Chen Rui was finally able to return to her husband's place since fake news spread that she was in severe condition after the accident.

"Mommy! I missed you so much!" Yanyan rushed to her with a bright smile plastered on her lips.  

Chen Rui caught her in her arms and carried her up, "I missed you too." She kissed her cheek.

"Is your work done? You won't have to go anymore?" The child asked curiously.

"My work's not done yet but I don't have to stay away from here anymore." Chen Rui explained to her daughter as she walked towards the dining room while she was in her arms.

"That's great!" She grinned happily at her, hugging her mother by wrapping her short arms around her neck.
