Chapitre 101: Vanity

Yun sat in his office with a grin on his face as he thought of Lijuan and the look on her face when he showed her the 'gifts' he got her. She had been unable to hide her dismay at his choice of gift and he had tried his best not to laugh.

After they had returned into the house she had insisted on spending the rest of the night in the guestroom. 

"Why? You're not comfortable in here?" Yun asked.

"It's your bedroom and I am your guest. You should sleep on your bed while I sleep on the bed meant for guests." Lijuan had said as she dropped some of the books she had carried on the center table in his bedroom. 

"You are my girlfr—" The rest of his speech slurred as he realised what he was just about to say.

"Your fake girlfriend, yes. And no one else is here so no need pretending." She said with a smile.

"But I need to watch over you. What if you fall sick?" Yun asked cocking a brow.
