Chapitre 29: A Savage Plan....
Yes!!! He was a devil....
A little devil custom designed by Lord Icarus himself for this very cause and was the absolute favourite of Lady Silvia who also happens to be known as the Lady Luck.
Even though everyone was thunder struck at his suggestion, they had to admit ; coming from Nakash it wasn't that surprising. As a matter of fact, it was completely normal because he was known for his out of the box style of thinking.
" Exactly what is your maneuver Nakash?? " Nani asked.
Oblivious to the boy's gifted wits, Nani still couldn't picture exactly how his plan was going to turn their tables.
" I understand your concern, Nani...But, please don't worry, I will never suggest anything that I am not sure about. " Nakash patiently replied. " All I am saying is that since our offense is ineffective against their defense then why don't we do same for them. "
" Nakash!! Are you suggesting that we increase our defence by absorbing their offense?? " Having raised him since a newborn Brother Fernandez had some understanding of his student if not complete.
" Not just for defense but, also for offense. The more they attack, the stronger we get. " Nakash explained. All the while a haughty smrik played on his lips.
" We will cast another protective dome and merge it with the already existing one. This will not only help us mend the magic dome, also lure out the Viento triplets. " he continued gazing deeply at the happenings outside.
" Nakash in order to mend the magic dome you first need to block the incoming spell. How will you do that??? "
" I am yet to decide about that, Uncle Soham. Thing is that the moment we get out of the time bubble, the incoming spell will hit us and the dome will crumble. Extending the bubble is also out of option."
He was already set about what needs to be done, the only problem was the safest route of execution.
" If extending the time bubble is not an option then why not speed up time, Nakash?? " Nitiya gave quite a thought before she remembered another one of her Brother's speciality.
' Of course!!! How could I forget about it??? Stupid me!!!. Lesson learned!!! Inferiority complex is not good for brain power. Hmph...' Having forgotten the basics none but, Nakash himself was to blame.
Given the lead, he quickly cooked up something and said " Uncle Soham, You will absorb the spell. " His words left no room for negotiation.
Although none except Nitiya knew what actually Nakash cooked still, they had complete confidence that whatever the little boy thought would earn nothing but the best of the benefits.
Away from the all the technical problems of the plan, a very certain someone was excited about getting into action.
" Nakash, since you already have the plan set then would mind telling what's the catch of the day?? " Saaransh sweetly asked applying lots of butter as he rubbed his palms gleefully. His eye sparkled in anticipation.
Having faced so many adversities alongside Nakash and Nitiya for so many years, Saaransh was well aware that none of Nakash's plans are complete without a back up plan.
Nakash broke into a innocently charming smile which beautiful hid a sinister after plan.
"Hehe...You know me so well Brother Saaransh!!! The catch is that not only the mansion but also all of us will have such a barrier cast upon ourselves. The only difference will be that unlike the magic dome this barrier will not be used to just protect ourselves. With the combined power of mine and Brother Saaransh we will created a special mechanism that will allow us to absorb the attacks and return it back to them.
That way we will be able to kill two birds with one stone. "
Everybody brimmed with excitement as Nakash explained his plan.
At that very moment, in everyone's view, Nakash was no different from a devil straight out of the hell.
Kaya's eyes glimmered as she said " O God of the Evil, I just realised your abilities are hell-defying!!! Can I please be your leg accessory?? "
Nakash's entire body twitched when he saw his aunt's worshipful gaze while others fell into a fit laughter.
Poor fellow !!!! He literally shivered just imagining his life with her and the number of disasters she would bring on them.
" No thank you!! I don't have time to baby sit a bunch of disastrous unleavened bulls. " he replied without a hint of remorse.
' A bunch of disastrous unleavened bulls!!! '
' You just called ' The Miss Dehradun ' a bunch of disastrous unleavened bulls!!!! '
Nakash's merciless reply sent Kaya boiling red in anger and Soham's comment further added gasoline on the already burning flames.
" At least keep the gender and the number correct Nakash..."
" I don't think I made any mistake, Uncle Soham...Compared to my mommy and Auntie Surbhi, I don't find anything lady-like in her. And as far as the numbers go, she alone is equivalent to a whole bunch. "
Everyone : "....."
' Hats off genius!! '
Steam erupted from Kaya's ears." NAKASH YOU'RE DEAD!!!! "
" Sure, that is after you're done with them. "
Nakash skillfully diverted Kaya's attention by reminding her of the Shadow Army.
" Alright then!! Let's get the plan going . " With those words from Soham their plan finally kicked off.
" Remember everyone!! Absorb their spells, allow them to absorb your spells and avoid physical attacks.
Surbhi Auntie, Father and Brother, you all go inside and wait for mom in her room.
Uncle Soham, you need to step a bit of yourself out of the magic dome as fast as you physically can to absorb the spell. Just your palm would be enough, Okay. I will take care of your actual speed. "
Nakash instructed the finer details of his plan like a true leader without a hint of arrogance or disrespect. Even though, he was taking charge of the situation, he was mindful of the positions the adults and the elders hold by never ignoring their words.
He was young, indeed. Too young to be honest, with a world full experience ahead of him yet his character was something he was born with and not anyone can easily hold. The little boy has astonished every person he met in his six years of life with flexible rigidity.
" Ready everyone!! "
" READY!! "
With that stage one ; the protection spell began.
Facing each other, Saaransh and Nakash by the technique called convergence, combined their powers to create a new and opposite form of magic that would allow them to use each others powers for a short period of time. This step was necessary as Nakash was gifted with the ability to create or destroy magic or any form of energy for that matter, at his will and does not facilitate manipulation of the already existing ones which was much needed for their offense against the Shadow Army.
Nakash apart from the Lia was the the only one in the whole of creation who possessed such an ability because magic, just like energy can neither be created nor destroyed. The only difference between the mother-son pair was the manipulation of the existing magic or energy as Lia had the ability while Nakash didn't. Hence, he had to opt for convergence.
After their convergence was safely completed, Nakash created the magic protection barrier using what he termed as ' The Hungry Magic ' which was exactly as the name suggested. A magic that was hungry for magic.
As sweet as it sounded ; as savaged it really was.
Hehe!! He was called the custom designed devil for nothing now was he??
Because of a sudden thought and purely out of impulse Nakash tempered with his original version of the Hungry Magic that he previously used on a needed occasion and created an even savaged version of it.
Initially it was suppose to only absorb the power from the offensive spells of the Shadow Army however, now the advanced version was designed in such a way that it will suck in the dark magic as well as the energy that supported them, leaving them weak and vulnerable. He was also mindful to ensure that his spell worked only one way and not two way.
He then individually cast it on everyone including himself.
With their personal protection up and running it was time for stage two ; mending the magic dome.
Because Nakash was still sceptical about stopping time as Lia was still in the Realms of Time and there was a risk of the shadow creatures getting sucked inside the time bubble which would allow them to absorb it, making it impossible even for Nakash to keep track of them, never mind the others.
Therefore, he chose to play around with individual time rather than mass time.
By gently holding hands, Nakash sped up time for Soham in sync with his movements, giving him the lightning speed effect.
" Get ready everyone!! I am going to burst the time bubble now. " Nakash declared.
