Shaylah pursed her lips as she turned around and raced back towards the palace. One of the guards mentioned fetching a carriage and the other started to help with the kids.

"We need rope. I don't want to take these kids in like animals." Calder said as he sat down onto the ground. "Yes, yes Your Highness, I'll send word that we need supplies." The guard said as he backed up slowly. "I can relay the message." One of the shadow guard said as she stepped forward.
