"Let's go then" Licht say, Kazuki nod, but Leon is throughly scared, but still remembering there's no error or casuality in this part he steel himself.
He wear the vest and follow behind the two of them, then all freshman follow Vera and stop in the tail part of the passanger plane, he incorporate a function of cargo plane for this plane, the tail door, that used by soldier to parachute.
The door opened, the wind howl to their face, and almost all of them swallowed their saliva nervously.
"Jump fast !" Vera shouted, she run and then jump, the first person to react is of course Leon, the second is Licht and then Kazuki, followed by Yun Hara and her teamates, it seems some of them thought that working together is more benefical than being all alone. Leon too thought of that.
With the six of them, the other follow and soon every freshman have jump off from the plane, while they are airborne the vest suddenly shine and green glow envelope their body, and they can feel their descend slowed down and they feel more ease at breathing, after all the air is thin at this height.
Leon looks at the ground and observe it, he need to locate the 'place', he must. Three oases making a triangle with nothing in the center of it, that is his destination. He need to go there, it would be a shame but if the other two didn't agree he will go by himself.
Passing the height of three thousand meters above sea level their speed slowed down.
From 90m/s they deaccelerate to 20m/s and then when 5 meters above the ground they stop completely, the green glow enveloping them dissapear as if it's never been there
"Then see you in 13 days" Vera says, her breathing quite rough, and then without further ado she fly to the sky.

"Are we going to the oasis ?" Licht ask, he already know where the oases are and the nearest one is approximately 80 km from here.
"No, I think Leon has a plan, do you, Leon ?" Kazuki pushes his glasses.
"Yes, I do have a plan"
"Then let's go, moreover with our group speed of marching it will be easy to go toward an oasis if we want to" it's not a coincidence or an impulse thought he choose Leon and Licht as his teammates, Leon has high average variable stats, and Licht is stronger than Leon, while he himself is also stronger than other freshmen, even though he is not really the combat type.

"When you talk about this, yes I really do feel this a little to easy. for example from the sky we have known the location of all oasis, and by logical thinking, the monster here have to survive so they also need the water, students can kill those monster and eat the meat to survive as most low-level monster is nontoxic, or is there a problem ?" Licht frown, he feels Kazuki will not ask any unnecessary question, and he feels bad premonition from this.
"Your thinking is not wrong, however, there is a reason why this desert is called Eternal Desert, it's not because how the desert will be desert forever, it's because of how those who died here will be revived during the night as the Walker however they are weak and pose little threat to the living, however, there is a reason the School give us the time of 13 days, 12 days later starting from 2nd August until 3rd August, it will be full night time"

Even if they chitchatting their feet never stop to moves, in a short time they have covered the distance of over 2 km, by their pace it will not be long until they reach the 'place'.
Leon need to do this, as he need that item other than that the place can also become his protagonist way to become stronger quickly and not only that, Kazuki can also become stronger than before.
A few hours passed, and they have reached the center of the triangle, by the time they have arrived, their sweat drenched their cloths. Leon feel parsed and the feel of cloths latched to his skin is really uncomfortable.

Leon walk toward a rock and then he stop, he take a deep breath, feeling the hot air feel his lung he moves.

And then on the third one the rock under his foot suddenly start trembling, Leon moves aside from the rock and wait for the entrance to open.
The rock fall down as if being eaten by the sands, from where the rock originally stood a hole appear.
"Wow is this an entrance ?" Licht wonder.
"It is, it will lead us to that place" Leon smiled, meanwhile Kazuki feel dumbfounded, as he is sure this entrance is not known to other people, and if not for Leon they wouldn't found it.
"Let's go" Leon is obviously the first one to enter that hole.
"Let's go Kazuki !" Licht the second and the third is obviously the shocked Kazuki.
