Chapitre 129: Meeting in the barn

Aiden couldn't watch Elina talking to Jennifer's family happily for so long. He stood there for a few minutes as he was expecting that he could hear Irena's voice. But Elina kept on talking to Lisa instead and when he heard her saying,

"Oh! Irena slept off while playing just now? It's okay Aunty, then I will call you again tomorrow. Bye-bye…"

Elina disconnected the call and climbed on to the bed. She pulled the blanket over her head and dozed off. Aiden could not believe what just happened. He waited for so long to talk to his darling baby but this lady in front of him talked to everyone else except their daughter.

He controlled his urge to smack her head and turned around. Before leaving he made sure to close the door behind him with a loud, 'bang'.

As usual, only Melissa was sitting on the couch while munching on some grapes, she picked up earlier from the dining room. 

"Where is everyone?" Aiden asked her.
