Chapitre 220: Chapter 216: Suggestion or Threat?

"Oh, right. I totally forgot about that. Yesterday, I promised to meet the Police Chief. I guess there's one more meeting with the authorities," Ryder let out with a wry smile on his face as he made a U-turn and went towards the Police Station.

He parked the car before the station and entered the station. He walked to a cop and told him that he was invited to meet the Chief.

The Cop recognized Ryder and escorted him to the room of the station chief.

The cop told Ryder to wait outside as he opened the door and entered the room.

He informed the Police Chief of Ryder's arrival.

After a few minutes, he came out of the room.

"You can go inside," The Cop told Ryder.

Ryder entered the room.

He saw a man sitting on the chair behind a table. The man was wearing a dress that highlighted his position as the Police Chief.

The man looked like he was in his late thirties. He had a clean face and short black hair.
