I was talking with uncle Alfred when Father asked or rather ordered me to be on my best behaviour and said that the king would be here anytime.
Suddenly sound of Royal trumpet could be heard alongside Drumming when a Royal Guard went to the door to open it and the other one told something about the King is here or whatever.

Normal Pov
After the King entered with his Daughter he walked to the stage before addressing to everyone, " I am Tristwin Urnea Belfast, The King of Belfast and this child with me is my daughter, Yumina Urnea Belfast. Today we all are here to attend her First Birthday Party. So Let's begin with this party." After the King's small speech, Music started playing as the Lights from the Chandelier dimmed a bit making the hall look more beautiful
Everyone was enjoying this Music when Some noble asked another one to dance with him and the noble who asked was Sylvian Von Vesteria while the one who was asked was Hisui Von Vesteria and everyone seeing them dance followed their lead.
While the adults were dancing James went to the place where all the kids were and started or at least pretended to play with them.
After an hour or so food was being arranged and the ball near it's end when his father called for him.
" James come meet the king and the princess." He asked James to greet the King.
" Nice to meet you, your highness King Tristwin."He bowed deeply in front of the King showing his utmost respect.
" No need to bow, You can just call me Uncle Trist as I and your Father goes way back. Yield would have liked to meet you as well." Tristwin said while thinking that his wife fell ill at wrong time and sighed internally.
While Tristwin was thinking something inrlternally we find the little princess hugging James leg and not letting go of it. " Abuuu" She said.
James took her in his embrace and started to play with her which made the king angry 😡 and a bit surprised. he thought, ' She usually doesn't go near any stranger much less a Male at that and here she is all chummy with this kid. Daddy's heart lil Yumi *sniff**sniff*'
Tristwin cried internally thinking his daughter was going to leave him. Yet he could only see and do nothing as he saw both the kids playing.
' Yosh I am going to make him held responsible for my daughter now that it has already gone so far.' (A/N: Anime Logic)When he thought this he suddenly smiled creepily and looked towards his own childhood friend who went through good and bad times with him and started laughing
" what happened Trist, you okay? You look like an idiot and that too a creepy one when you laugh like that. " Sylvian said.
" Ohohoho my friend, my dear friend. We have gone through a lot right? " The king said
Sylvian could only nod at that as it was the truth but when he heard the next sentence he was surprised though not so much as he believed that the thing was going to happen sooner or later.
