Chapitre 54: Chapter 48
Naruto had got the gist of the situation. This village was under the tyrannical rule of a mob boss name Gato. The said mob boss who was actually a businessman, was planning some shaddy stuff here. Tazuna was a threat to him as the bridge he was building could threaten his plans. So killing him was a necessary.
Before that, Gato and his goons Killed the village hero, A.K.A Inari's step father. His death was on public display, telling that no one was to defy Gato.
The shit worked actually, as no one dared to defy Gato from that day onward. This made Naruto really mad.
This village was filled with cowards.
The one person that earned his respect was Tazuna. Sure he can a drunk old bastard, but he atleast had the guts to confront Gato. This bridge will connect them to the mainland and will symbolise the end Gato's rule over them... That's what they thought.
Naruto was currently doing some basic swinging practice with hid sword at a Forest a bit far from Tazuna's house. It was about midnight and everyone was asleep The last fight was very disappointing for Naruto, as he could not use even his Ninjutsu.
That day when they saved Hinata from Mizuki, Konohamaru had a glimpse of what was inside the forbidden scroll. He managed to memorised one useful technique.
'' Shadow clone jutsu. ''
Naruto summoned a shadow clone of himself And began sparing with it.
It was disappointing that he could not use this jutsu against Zabuza.
After he sliced the Shadow clone in half, it puffed into smoke.
'' Fuck! '' Naruto groaned as he sat down on the grassy ground. '' Next time I meet that bastard Zabuza, I will stab him with his own sword and drown him on that river. ''
' I am still too weak. ' Naruto thought as he starred at the starry sky. As he gaze into the calm and starry sky, he could see the beautiful moon that brighten the dark night.
The moon shining on the starry sky reminded him of someone very close to his heart.
' Ah, Hinata-chan I miss you~ '
All of a sudden, Naruto's surroundings became more windy. Infront of him, as if the space itself was experiencing a distortion, it formed a pitch black portal. It looked so ominous, Naruto got up and went to examine the portal.
'' What the fuck is this? '' Naruto said to himself.
' Naruto. ' Fog's voice echoed inside his mind. ' Get inside the portal. ''
'' Why? '' Naruto asked.
' Your first trail of awakening has arrived. ' Fog said, ' It's a test for all the host that possess Aura. It will either kill you or strengthen you. '
[ Back at the Pit ]
'' What the fuck is this? '' Shiro said as the same pitch black portal appeared before all of the Pit dwellers.
They were all having a midnight snack, when this portal just spawned before them.
'' What should we do with it? '' Akira asked.
'' Let's just go inside it and check it out. It could be fun. '' Akio asked with excitement beaming through his eyes.
'' Fifth brother, it looks dangerous. '' Kuromaru had to stop them from doing anything crazy. When Naruto was not at the Pit, it was his job to keep his fellow brothers in line.
'' I agree with Kuromaru. '' Hester gave his honest choice.
'' Let me think about it. '' Konohamaru went into thinking mode.
[ Back with Naruto ]
'' Can I skip it ? '' Naruto asked.
' I wish you can, but you have to take the trail. ' Fog answered. ' Besides the portal have also appeared before your fellow brothers back at the Pit... And they have just entered the portal. '
'' Fuck! '' Naruto immediately entered the portal. Naruto was a man that feared nothing, not even death. But fear always exist in everyone and for Naruto, it was loosing his family.
Although he and all his pit dwelling brothers are not related by blood or race, the bond they share are deep.
As he entered the portal, what greeted him was a very old tunnel. As he moved forward, a wooden door greeted him. On opening it, he arrived at a dimly lit stone room. It was lit by torches that were hung on the walls.
'' First brother, you're here too ? '' Naruto also saw that Kuromaru and all his brothers were present in the room.
After explaining them the situation, they all began to just wait for some thing to happen. Because Fog said that someone will come and lead them to the trail itself. But two hours later, that someone didn't even came.
The pit dwellers, were getting bored of waiting.
'' This trail, what kinds of reward are we going to get? '' Konohamaru asked out of boredom.
'' Shut up you hairless ape bastard. '' Akira was annoyed, '' You asked that same shit five minutes ago and another five minutes before that. ''
'' I'm getting bored ok. '' Konohamaru defended himself.
'' Alright you two, knock it off. '' Kuromaru stopped their useless verbal fight, before it becomes a physical one. '' First brother doesn't look too happy now. ''
They could see Naruto sitting down at the corner of the room, his eyes closed and an annoyed expression on his face.
'' I think First brother is angry at something. '' Akio commented.
Naruto was currently very pissed, It's been two hours. They were stuck in this room for two fucking hours. He wanted to finish the mission in the wave fast so that he go back to Konoha, and be with Hinata-chan again.
But this stupid trail was taking too much of his time.
All of a sudden a blue portal appeared before them.
'' Welcome to the trail of Awakening! '' A young Chirpy voice sounded through the portal. From the portal, came out a young looking man probably twenty years old, he had purple hair, he wore a full buisness suit and had a very cheerful smile on his face.
'' My name is Aldo, and I am you trail guide. Sorry for being late, I usually get late especially on important occasions. So without further ado, you shall begin your trail. You can ask me any- '' Aldo was cut short when he was greeted with the spine chilling glare of Naruto, Konohamaru and Akira. They even released their bloodlust at the chirpy young boy. They were fed up with waiting, and it was because of this bastard, this trail was taking too much time. '' You seemed to look very angry. ''
'' Oh. Are we? '' Naruto said in a very dark voice.
'' First brother can I kill him ? '' Akira asked, with his scythe ready to kill someone.
'' I want to disembowel him with my claws. '' Konohamaru said as he flexed his claws in a menacing way.
They Walked closer to Aldo, with their weapons in hand or jaws in Akira's case.
'' L-let's discuss this like proper gentlemen can we ? '' Aldo said in fear, backing a bit.
'' Lets discuss things with our fist then, shall we. '' Naruto said as he cracked his knuckles. '' I promise you this, It will hurt like hell. ''
[ Few minutes later ]
Aldo had three bumps on his head a black eyes a swollen check and a few scratches here and there and his business suite was a complete mess.
'' Alright I forgive you. '' Naruto said.
'' Is that how you forgive people? '' Aldo asked in disbelief.
'' People will never learn from their mistakes unless they are punished for it. '' Naruto answered. '' And you deserved to be punished. ''
'' Alright where's the stupid trail? I am wasting too much time here. '' Naruto had wasted too much time here and he really need to get back.
'' Just enter this portal. '' Aldo pointed to the portal that spawned behind him. '' Just a quick reminder, you cannot trail together. Each person will have to face his own trail, so you have to face your own trial by yourself. If you can survive the trail, you will be rewarded. ''
'' Whatever. We have trained ourselves to not to survive, but to protect and destroy. '' Naruto said, remembering the reason why he trained himself to become stronger. '' We will destroy anything that approaches us in this trail. '' With that Naruto entered the portal.
'' Alright then. '' Konohamaru declared then looked at Akira, '' If you finish this trial before me, I'll be your slave for a day. If not you will be my bitch for a day. I can already see you in a dog colar already. ''
'' Bring it on you Hairless Ape bastard. '' Akira declared as they both raced towards the portal.
Just as he was about a few metres away from the portal, Konohamaru jumped and using his head as a stepping stone he launched himself towards the portal.
'' SEE YA LATER BITCH!!! '' Konohamaru flashed his middle finger at Akira as he entered the portal
'' OH NO YOU DON'T!!! '' Akira leaped inside the portal.
Kuromaru who had seen all of this nonsense, sighed in defeat. '' When will they grow up? ''
Then turning towards Aldo, '' I'm really sorry for the violence my brothers have inflicted on you. '' He apologised. '' But you really need to be on time otherwise you will receive a even worse beating next time. ''
With that Kuromaru entered the portal.
Akio was the only one left and was simply starring at Aldo.
'' What do you want? '' Aldo asked.
'' If I passed the trail, can I get my sanity back? Akio asked seriously. At that moment, Akio did not looked like the usual domestic dog like personality of his.
Aldo looked at the Wolf Infront of him, feeling a uncomfortable chill in his spine.
'' Y-yeah I guess? '' Aldo replied nervously.
'' Really?!!! '' Akio was beaming with excitement going back to his usual behaviour. '' YAHOOO! '' Akio entered the portal.
'' What was with that wolf? '' Aldo was confused, Akio was a strange creature. There was something really wrong with him.
[ Meanwhile Inside the portal ]
Naruto was again greeted with darkness and so did his brothers.

A robotic voice was heard inside Naruto.
'' Say what ? '' That was all Naruto could say.
