Instead of being the smartest guy in the room she had to be the dumbest one to not hurt their big pride and to not gain any more attention than she really needs.
"Sister wants to play~."
Carnia closed the door behind her smiling like a little rabbit that lost her way, Aiden and Ethan looked at her surprised unable to utter a word like the saying 'cat got your tongue'
"Brother?."
Carnia asked tilting her head while walking towards the two, Ethan quickly fixed his composure and smiled brightly smacking Aidens back quietly to knock him off his senses.
"What do you want to play?."
Aiden replied scratching his head while smiling, they were both nervous to the reality that Carnia might have heard what they were saying earlier and they both dont want to make anything awkward in their loving relationship since Aiden really liked Carnia he wanted to know what his sister fancies, to pamper her more.
"Uhm.... Hide and seek?."
Carnia was a bit taken a back she thought that Aiden would suggest playing with swords by mean playing he meant cleaning his weapons, she did not know what to think of and the only game that popped out of his head was hide and seek.
"What kind of game is hide and seek?."
Ethan replied it seemed like these two did not know how to play like real children do, Even though Carnia did not play with kids in her age in her past life, in her childhood years he watched from afar how children on the streets play with each other, he pretty much got the initial idea there.
He was born from a rich family but he knew how to be humble, he learned how to respect elders and treat anyone from different social statuses the same as everybodyelse.
"Uhm... the other person needs to hide from the seeker and the seeker needs to find the person who is hiding."
She explained it in a more simple way she could think of, Hide and seek is a simple yet complicated game it could take hours to play a single game.
"who is the other person and who is the seeker?."
Ethan commented he immediately knew what the game was he was not dumb like his brother and he is a fast learner, he is quite happy that they get to play together in a game that does not involve swords..
"Whats the point of the game?."
Aiden asked this was the first time they heard of a game hide and seek, he looked excited and slightly confused his motto has always been "do it if you gain something from it" but what would he gain from something like a game like that, even studying is out of his radar of something to gain from he wanted to be a knight anyway why does he need to learn algebra when its got nothing to do with it.
"We decide with Rock, paper and scissors."
"Whats that?."
Ethan replied now he is really confused what does a rock and paper and a scissors have anything to do with deciding the game and what is even a scissor. Carnia's veins almost popped her eyes twitcing.
She closed her left palm and said "This is rock." she then opened her hand wide open " This is paper." she closed her thumb, ring finger and little finger making a peace sign from her hand saying " and this is scissors.".
Now that she thougth of it she decided to be the dumb one in the room for them to think he was just a normal dumb child that is not good with algebra but why does it seem like its the other way around, his plan had been destroyed from the moment he said the word playing. these two children have lived with swords as their toys there entire life, this atleast would be expected from them.
"Actually how about this?, brother Ethan your job is to find me and brother Aiden."
She sighed explaining further will also make her look more smarter and his plan would ultimately crumble than it already is.
"Where can I hide?."
Aiden opened the door from the playroom ready to leave when the instructions were not even clear yet wanting to get a petty head start right from the beginning.
"We can hide anywhere as long as we are in the mansion, brother Ethan count to 50 after your finished counting you have to find us."
"Okay, 1...2...3."
Carnia had not even told Ethan to start counting yet but he had already counted to 3 they are still kids no matter what ridiculous things they are doing. Ethan did not even close his eyes he just looked at Carnia mockingly.
it seems like the two were really excited Carnia looked outside the window and saw Aiden running off the building going inside the woods. Carnia also ran off the room and outside the building going in from the opposite side of the woods.
