Chapitre 6: SPECIAL EASTER EP + Character descriptions
Dominic laid down a tray of his favorite fruits and candy, and waited for Boris to lay down the rest of the food on a metal tray before motioning for Boris to sit next to him.
"I don't think I can-" Boris began to refuse before Dominic grabbed his hand and pulled him down.
They sat in silence for a second before Dominic began speaking again.
"Hey Dad," Dominic greeted, "I missed you."
No reply.
"Remember the day you sent me to go find a scrap? I was SOOO mad that day that I would have to leave my princely duties just to pick up a toy below me," Dominic laughed, "I'm so glad I went though."
Dominic laced his fingers into Boris' and raised their hands up, "This is my attendant, Boris," he placed their hands on his lap and placed his other hand on top of it, "I plan to rule this kingdom with him."
Tears ran down Dominic's cheeks as he smiled, "I-I believe he's a gift from you in advance. If I never listened to you, I would have never met him, if I never listened to you, I wouldn't have met someone who made me feel so comfortable in my skin other than you, if I never listened to you, I wouldn't be able to live without you," His hands shook as tears continued to run down his face.
Boris squeezed Dominic's hand, reassuring him.
"I-I really miss you, everyday I hope you would walk through those doors yelling at me for missing my lessons or talking back to the instructor, everyday. I miss your smiles, your embrace your comforting words, everyday a reminder that you left my side," Dominic stuttered, his heart throbbing as he confessed and admitted his grief, "but..." Dominic looked at Boris with a pained smile, "in his scolding I relive your momentary anger, in his embrace I remember your warmth, in his calming and reassuring smile, I see you."
Boris smiled, his face slightly pink.
"So though I miss you so very much, cry and beg for you to come back, with him there I can keep on going. With him here I can share my burdens with someone, I can cry with someone and beg with someone. I can mourn your departure for a while and repay your moments with me with the rest of my life," Dominic grinned, "he is the most precious thing and present anyone could have ever gotten me."
Boris bowed his head with a slight smile.
"I love you, I miss you, and I need you, and through you I will love him, I will miss him and I will need him," Dominic chuckled ruffling Boris' hair, "I know you are somewhere watching over me, right now. So don't worry I will never let you down," He raised up their hands again and smiled, "we will never let you down."
Together they bowed their heads before the crown and the sword, swearing to be together, to rule together, to stand together... forever.
