Me:"How long was I in the pool?"
Lucy:"Master you just went in as soon as you submerged yourself you came back up!" Istaqa nodded his head rapidly before he composed himself
Me:"Good then I don't have to change my schedule Lucy help me get dressed"
Istaqa:"Are you just going to pretend that what happened earlier never occurred?"
Me:"No it happened"
Istaqa:"Then are we going to discuss it?"
Me:"No"
Istaqa:"Why not I think we have a right to know what we just witnessed"
Lucy:"I'm fine either way master whatever you think is best!"
Me:"Thank you Lucy, is that all Istaqa or do you have any other unreasonable demands"
Istaqa:"How is what I am asking unreasonable?"
Me:"I thought it was obvious we have not known each other for even a week yet you think yourself entitled to my secrets because of knowledge I have generously shared with you not something I'm required to do now please see yourself out as I'm supposed to meet with my fiancee soon and I hope that the next time we meet you conduct yourself with decorum"
Istaqa:"I.. uh..yes I'm sorry I shall not disturb you for the rest of day"
Istaqa left feeling humiliated on multiple fronts not long after that I was greeted by my fiancee.
Me:"Good evening Melissa how is my lovely fiancee doing this fine day"
Melissa:"Not as good as you I heard that General Walker has taken a great interest in you something my brother desperately tries to do as he is infatuated with her but she doesn't even bother with him as if he doesn't exist"
Me:"I can't help it if others notice how lucky you are to be engaged with me"
Melissa:"Seriously how did you do it my family has tried everything to make a connection with her but she never even bothered to be polite in her refusal with any non-militarily personnel that includes the imperial royal family!"
The rest of the time she tried to find any meaningful secrets that she could report back to her family but got nothing as I could easily see into her mind I knew how desperate they are to have an individual such as General Walker on their side as she has a lot of clout in the military which would be extremely beneficial to Verde family which made the value of General Walker to skyrocket in my mind meaning she would be able to serve me well outside of the bedroom which I didn't really expect but thankfully because of her innate fear of being caught she hasn't been recruited by any faction and can not even consider the emperor faction as he is related by blood to the gods.
