Chapitre 20: Stripped From His Title

"Good Hunting, Brother!" Only this time the Clapping was increased. The royals clapped, as if my brother did not deserve my attention. But since George was royal blood, they gave him all he needed, shameless people.

"As Your price I shall confer on you the title...Earl Of Richmond!" As George walked closer so that he could Edward over the clapping, everyone was waiting to see what the King would do next.

George on the other, did not seem so happy with his prize. Although he was being sarcastic, he made it easy to look through that little act of his. It was obvious he was plotting with Warwick, for now I shall keep my mouth shut.

"And I was hoping for your crown." It seemed to be a Joke to everyone so they laughed at the Earl Of Richmonds comment.

"Lady Margaret Beaufort will not be happy, Richmond is her son's title." Lady Margaret Beaufort was the Sister-in law of the King Henry. Her son has been taking away from her because of her beliefs of Henry being the rightful king. Her son is to be raised by a true Yorkist, and not in a household with her strong Lancastrian beliefs.

"Yes, but he is nephew to The Old King Henry. So I must strip it from him."

In the POV of Lady Margaret Beaufort:

I received a letter and As I open it, I begin these horrible words. These Yorkist have really done it now. First they take the throne by force, against god's will. And now they have stripped my son of his title, my little Henry, he must be so devastated.

And to who do they give it to? That George Plantagenet The King's Brother.

I quickly ran outside to my husband, who was watering his plants. He heard my footsteps as he turned around to see what kind of trouble I had made now.

"They have stripped my son of his title! They have stripped him of the Earl Of Richmond and given it to that second York boy, George."

"I've been told." He even said it with no reaction, Henry is just a little boy. Yet they are trying to take away away the one thing he values most.

"No, you are my husband you must get it back for him! It is his ancestral title through his-"

"Margaret. Margaret The York's rule England Now, and a Edward may give the peerages to whoever he sees fit." So he is going to let them go against gods will, Henry is the rightful heir to the throne not that York Edward. I do not care who runs England now, they cheated gods will. God will never forgive them for what they have done. I will make sure to tell my lord about this in my prayers, I'll pray that they give my Henry his title back.

"Is it not enough that I am not allowed to raise my child myself? That he must be raised by his Uncle Jasper. He is nephew to King Henry in line as Lancastrian Heir. He should not be treated as though..."

"Look, you must not boast about this too loudly, it is the very reason why the King must keep him down." Why because he is afraid of a little boy. Well he should be afraid, one day my boy will rule England, he will be the best King there ever was.

"His uncle Jasper would not let this happen! He would write to Edward and defend my poor boy. He would feel his pain as I do. You do not do anything because you know the boy is not yours. I shall go to little Henry myself and explain to him about his title!"

"No it'll mean nothing to him the boy is barely 5 years old."

"It means Something? No it means the World! It is all he has!

"Well, have you eaten anything today?"

"No"

"You are looking very thin again"

"I'm fasting."

"You cannot live on Fresh air alone."

"I live on Prayer."

Chapitre 21: Goddess Of Love

Another 6 months Later

Elizabeth was now 9 months pregnant, she could give birth at any second. So the Castle was on Alert as their queen could give birth at any minute. Elizabeth was walking to her Mother who was sorting out who they wanted to marry who. Like they had said now that Elizabeth was about to give Birth, it could be the Heir she'd give birth to. So they had to build a strong royal family around her. So that is exactly what they're doing now.

Elizabeth sat as her mother decided who married who.

As I walked the halls, I then noticed that Lord Warwick was passing by. It only happened to be that I had to talk to him about something. "Lord Warwick. Your daughters have not been brought to me. I request them for my household."

"My daughters are to wed, Your Grace, and so sadly, must decline. The king is aware." I'm not sure if it is that he does not like me, or if his daughters do not like me. But I thought I could do this out of nice gesture but instead got declined, I just hoped that my relationship with Warwick would get better. For Edward's Sake.

He bowed and then walked away, as I walked into the room where my mother was. She was sorting out the marriages that were to come into the family. She though that since I was the Queen, it would only be appropriate if I were there when she was deciding. But I went in because I wanted to tell her about what just happened. I need to ask her for advice on what I shall do.

"Ah, I was thinking, our little Annie should wed Viscount Bourchier. And little Katherine could marry the Duke Of Buckingham." I hated to ruin the mood, but I could not, not tell my mother something. She was the only person I could tell the world to and not have any regret.

"Warwick has refused his daughters to me. It is a snub, and I do not know what I should do. He hates me." And if he hates me it is only fair he will drive that hate onto my children. "But Edward still thinks we can be friends! Then what should I do, accept his hate or battle through it?"

"You should do neither. You should do as Edward says and make your family strong by marriage, so you can weather an attack from anyone. Now, your Brother, John." My mother was right, since I've known for a long time that Warwick is plotting against my husband, If I am surrounded by people with power I will be able to defeat him in a snap. He will not be any better than me, and he shouldn't be.

I am the Queen, I am equal to the King. I can ruin you, and I can make you. It is best not to underestimate me just because you still think of me as a commoner, and someone who is not worthy to the king.

"What spells are you two weaving?" My father walked in, in a very happy tone. "Father!"

"Ah, I see the goddess of love is busy doing her work!"

"There is no love in this, Richard. Only Business."

"You see how Mother changed her tune? When she set her heart on you, the lowly squire. She caused quite the scandal, saying true love was enough."

"It was worth it." My father and Mother were very tough on each other. But it was only because there love for each other was so deep.

That was the only reason I married Edward. Why I was ready to face all these challenges to be with someone I truly loved, and I had a wonderful example of it growing up.
