Chapitre 98: Resillience

When Derrick's body came to a halt, his mind was barely holding on to reality.

"Wh... What..."

The necromancer was in disbelief.

Just as he was about to try standing up, a searing pain began to set in, making him grimace and grunt.

Had he really been severely injured from a single strike?!

Even if his strategy had been roughly planned, he had never expected such a result.

This was, evidently, his mistake.

As he tried to gently move, he began assessing his condition before coming to an obvious conclusion : it wasn't good.

His left arm, which had absorbed most of the impact, had multiple fractures, which were now causing his also damaged muscles to swell massively.

He realized that if left unattended, he would incur the risk of losing his arm.
