"I don't think it's proper to treat a lady like that." Zion Kwan commented, trying to sound polite as his eyes moved to Ivan's hand that was holding Cora's wrist.

"And I don't think it's proper to meddle with someone else's love affair." Ivan smirked, staring straight at Zion Kwan who had a little bit of resemblance with Zoey when she was just a little girl. Good thing Zion Kwan wasn't a fool and spoke English so he could relay his message clearly.

'Love affair?' Momentarily, Zion was startled upon hearing the word. He then shifted his eyes to Cora who was standing still beside Ivan, and then to her restrained wrist once again.

A gleam of pain flashed across his eyes as his mind formed his own assumptions from Ivan's remarks. Yet, when he lifted his eyes back to them, Zion offered a gentle smile as if he was unbothered. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound rude. I'm just concerned about her because she's like my little sister." Zion explained.
