Chapitre 290: First Meeting

Walking towards the entrance, Zoey raised her hand to her shoulder level and meekly smiled towards the two men guarding the entrance. However, that mere gesture wasn't enough for Zoey to have access as both stepped closer to each other and blocked the entrance. 

"Uhm... why?" Stopping in her tracks, Zoey looked up as both men were tall. Since she wasn't wearing any fancy heels but mere black sneakers, Zoey had to look up. 

"You can't go inside." The man standing on the right explained briefly. 

"But... I am a guest." Maybe it was the lamest lie Zoey told in her life, but she didn't have a choice and could only try all methods she could. 

Both men sized Zoey from head to toe, before raising their chin up. They didn't say a word anymore, as if they got their answer just by looking at her. 

"You can ask Assistant Qian." Blinking her eyes many times, Zoey pointed her thumb to where Paul Qian headed.
