Today has been very weird for everyone in the Xi Corporation. Never once in their years of working in the company had seen Matthew Xi come to work late. Not just that, but also, he had only shown them one emotion: intimidation for as long as they could remember. 

Hence, it was not a surprise why they were mind boggled at the sight of him. Seconds ago, he was saying nothing, but now he was asking the person on the other end of the line about food? 

What was going on? No, the actual question was: who was the person he was talking to? The color of Matthew Xi's phone wasn't even left unnoticed because everyone were curious who was the majestic being that tamed the king?

"Mhmm..." Nodding his head, Matthew Xi's gentle hum came to them as mortifying. Yet, none of them dared make even the slightest noise, afraid to interrupt their boss's peace.
